Makes total sense, and this applies to just about everything online. Remember that you are putting your "reputation" in their hands and if they don't know what they are doing, the results could be.. well not s good and rather than building brad awareness, the next stop would probably have to be some sort of "damage control".. Good stuff, as usual

That's a million dollar question :) Quite frankly and thanks to @google-a564c33d8f4633b9f6a3ff2818269b3d , I am really mad at this. Now I will have to "amend" the posts I have written about Blekko's tools in the past and mention that it is now a paid service.

Anyway, to answer your question, I for one will not use it, period. And I am guessing that very few would find that the ROI for such an investment would be justifiable. Unless they come up with something totally unique and found nowhere else..

Hmmm, I played around Blekko's SEO tool before and although there are some interesting data to get out from it, I am very curious to see what they will come up with to justify that price tag, which to me, appears to be a bit steep. For now, I really don't see any compelling reason why I would switch to Blekko, in comparison to the other services that I am currently using. Like you said, a "warning shot" would have probably been a better process...

Hi Ajay. I finally got it to work. All your steps are actually spot on, but perhaps you may want to add another step which is to "deauthorize" (if users already have it authorized) and re-authorize again. Followed all your steps until the 7th step and then did this last one, and now it works like a charm.

Fantastic and great update. Thanks a lot.

To all of you who have the same issue, try doing what I did. It should work. Maybe it is a "Twitter" cache thing. Just deauthorize and authorize again. Send a test post and you should be good to go.

Not really surprised. I have to admit that I am one of those who uses FaceBook, not because I like it, but because ... Google+ may seem a bit "less" populated and as many have said, like a ghost town .. Not really the case, and I do prefer it over "other" networks because of its cleaner interface, less noise and the users are more relevant to my topic of interest. FaceBook changes so much, that when I seem to finally get a grasp ot it, bang, here goes another whatever it is they think is better. I wish they would conduct a "survey" first before anything else. See their "forced" email addresses? They had to back down.. said it was just an experiment :)

Hi Ajay.. Getting the same problem here on my end.. "OOPS!!! there seems to be some problem while tweeting. Please try again." no matter what I do I get the same error!" - leaving the Twitter app keys blank, works just fine.

Anyway, I am no expert on Twitter's API, but will the "Oaut" tool which has the request type is "GET", URL > https://api.twitter.com/1/ I am guessing it should be set to "POST". But that's beyond me :)

I totally relate with you on this one Anton. Having a huge amount of followers does not really translate into anything, unless your are maybe a celebrity :) I definitely prefer having a couple of hundred "engaged" people on my community than thousands of them that do not even "interact" with me. This part of your post has a good message: "Can you translate the number of followers and fans that you have in
money? Are you generating any business out of them? How often do they
talk to you directly?"

I really like this one "If you buy cheap..you buy twice”... so true and it does apply on just about anything else. SEO prices do indeed vary a lot and it all spends on the type of work that one must perform. It sill confuses me how there are companies that sell SEO packages..

Great stuff. I know most of these awesome people and value a lot their opinion. I am all for Ktisti's opinion, I think that G+ should steer away from "autofeeds" or "autopostings". This makes "real" people spend time on the network and actually engage and not just another "board" for press releases or content syndication. We already got a lot of that

This is very good advice Antonio. My main blog's top performer is earning revenues from selling ad spaces and it is really been very effective. the key is knowing "how to set the prices" for better acceptance ;-)
