As a serious bit of research to be thought about? #fail.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I don't like generalisations, but do agree with the point, that teens do tend to collect as a tribe. Facebook offers a teens a 'framed' structure in which to socialise and share. 'They' choose who they want to engage and share with. In my experience, teens don't like Twitter because (as outlined above) the status update feature already serves them well. Also, Twitter is almost 'too public' for them.
