Dave I respect and appreciate what you're trying to do here. Good application of your abundant chutzpah and I really feel you are bringing the conversation forward, a conversation which needs more light and air on it. I am a musical person-and there have been some works with lyrics that get all the taboo words out both black and white in a musical fashion with a beat. Maybe it's easier that way. I really appreciate Senator Obama for his moxie and even if he doesn't get elected he made me a better person and a better American for what he shared.

I also have a hell of a lot of respect for him standing by his pastor conflicted or otherwise. If we only maintained relationships based on correctness or agreement with our own concepts we'd have very few relationships to maintain at the end of the day.

So the DNA of this conversation is my RSS of today. :)

Dave good job on keeping this conversation going. I relly believe we all need to be more honest and transparent about our feelings, fears, and questions on this if we hope to grow and conquer some of the fears and awkwardness, Love the Rockaway connection-I used to ride my bike as a kid in Flatbush over Marine Parkway Bridge. I grew up in a mixed neighborhood of mostly white middle class people. I caught a lot of grief for being Jewish. For a long time I was anti-semitic probably due to hating my heritage which brought that much grief upon me as a kid in Brooklyn.

Fortunately I worked through those issues and have a much better self image and am proud of all the elements of my heritage and my Taiwanese wife's and our son...

Carie finding interesting sites is thru people of course-:) The methiods on Twitter, Friend Finder, GReader asking,etc. Lijit haven't done much with. Just liked the widget for organizing my footprints.On site-thx I like teh new look as well. You have helped by motivating me to take more and better pictures-:)

Thanks Carrie-I sure did. Appreciate the interview comments-Scott did a good job. He grew up in Taipei and did most of the post production foley work(sound effects,etc.) He took the trouble to ask me what music I like-so Talking Heads was my response. You're a nice dose of sunshine and encouragement yourself-so let's keep the mutual encouragement party going!

Heh-yeah I liekd filming and editing this. for some reason has that 60's HK Bruce Lee kind of feel to me(in my warped economy of thought). In any case, this guy very focused and centered. While no fashion points for outfit, no demerits for pretention either.... :)

John on this point it was Wayne MacPhail from our Xacti User Group that pointed out this TOS issue on Twitter. I am grateful for the heads up. I am using it with my eyes open and fully understand and agree. I think Adobe is playing with a can of worms here. I'm going to point out to EFF and Creative Commons.

While I do get Seesmic,have used it,etc. it still has been just another portal site to me among many. Now that they have a system to come to me and knock on my door-I of course will be more inclined to take a look at certain seesmics and maybe even respond. So I don't expect to become a Seesmic power user but do like twhirl and certainly will continue to use it for my Twitter activities. So for me I'd say they got something inifinitely more utilitarian now. Kudos Loic and team.

Thanks for chiming in. I suspected that Jason had a "dog in the race" so to speak. Whatever,very few original ideas but credit always due to better adaptations. Loving Apture and have already introduced to numerous web publishing friends.

The hand selected content and ease of linking are what make Apture a "keeper" in my book. Wish you guys the best of luck!

Good comments rich. re: Mud slinging-it is the lazy man's way of responding to competition. A lot harder to suck it up go back to the drawing board and come out with something better than competitor.

Well I think you know what I do. I live in a fortress of solitude called Taiwan(formerly Isla Formosa) and make stuff for people and help other people sell stuff in Asia. I like Asia, and that most Asians not interested in things like Twitter but in making money working hard and taking care of their families.
