(I'm Vicky's mom) The reason she alludes to beets is...a number of years ago, I made the mistake of compelling Vicky and her sister Valerie to "stay at the dinner table until you at least TRY your beets" Although no one died, it has neither been forgiven nor forgotten.
I like beets (I also like anchovies) but this burger looks bloodied. I agree with Rachel - I think I'd pass on it, but I'm proud of Vicky for being adventurous!
