This snooping may be acceptable to most people now, but by accepting this we are desensitizing ourselves to security cameras and the surveillance state that this entails. I'm calling this for what it is, the proverbial elephant trunk under the tent flap if you will, and I don't accept it nor the argument that it is for my own good nor the good of the nation.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Looking at PRISM and thinking that this is not as bad as China is delusional. This could easily spiral out of control because the bureaucracies are so large and self-sustaining that they are effectively fiefdoms unto themselves.
