I too have been enjoying the noir theme you've had of late.

As for stream of consciousness, Kerouac has always been my hero... I cannot bring myself to edit, however, as the stream cannot and should not be broken. Once I've gotten in out -- be in on paper, aurally on tape, or online, I've finished with the thoughts -- or at least that perception of those thoughts.... To edit would be to attempt, however futily, to emplace myself back in that moment and once those moments, stolen or otherwise, have passed, they remain forever distant.

I am very good about making lists. In my head. When I actually do get around to committing them to paper, I promptly lose or forget about them. Or sometimes I disregard them out of spite... for myself. Still not sure why I do this to myself but this is one of my quirks.

As for secret blogs, I am remarkably transparent with FB, twitter, etc. However, I do have a personal website that I do not share with many people wherein my inner thoughts come out and the real McCoy begins to ooze out...
