As you heard in the podcast, I think Lawnmower Man is a hilariously weird movie, like Limitless, and I agree that Lawnmower Man has a potentially interesting premise and doesn't do enough with it -- but not necessarily "nothing." Limitless, however -- well, I don't know if its premise is even potentially interesting. Here's the film in a nutshell: Bradley Cooper is a loser; Bradley Cooper gets addicted to drugs; Bradley Cooper gets rich; Bradley Cooper becomes a rich loser addicted to drugs; credits. Thanks for listening and hopefully one day we'll deconstruct the ever loving crap out of Lawnmower Man.

Re: The Right Now - News

Looking forward to another Chicago show -- band sounds tighter every outing!

Re: Bank of America (Formerely CountryWide)

My suggestion is to contact their legal department. I have a friend who had a similarly frustrating beef with a mortgage holder -- a very large Chicago-based bank. He was able to resolve the issue, which also involved a comparable army of incompetent customer service agents, by contacting and working with the bank's legal department.

Re: The Right Now

Thanks, John. If you were to play devil's advocate, what are the reasons NOT to give these away?

Re: Wizard of Oz Ultimate Collector’s Edition Review

What will be the next film of this era to be restored to this degree? I imagine Warner Brothers or any other studio would only invest the money and man hours into such an endeavor if they are sure the consumer public will sign on and ante up. Oz is universally loved and should be a big seller. What else qualifies? Gone With the Wind?

Re: “Meet Me for Coffee” – Informal Interviews with the Go-Between

Thanks, Dan. To the extent interviewing can be a skill, I think the informal coffee interview type is one that can be learned easily.

Re: IssTumBul

Wow man, are those deep fried taquitos?

Re: And Then There Were Five

Congratulations, Eric -- the "force" behind Marketing.FM!

Re: DB Classics: “Wrong Fat Girl”

What kind of a monster would write something like that?

Re: MLB ‘08 features in-game boredom!

Is that your TV?

Re: Clay Buchholz: Baseball’s New Iron Man!

It's saving your inboxes from saturation.
