However mistakes because one cannot commit to a course of action are not forgivable.

Make a decision, do it confidently, learn from mistakes and adjust quickly.

Fortune favors the bold.

Hope all is well Chris!

Re: 21 Creative Ways To Increase Your Facebook Fanbase

Offer fan only content...Create a custom FB tab and share links to whitepaper, embed special videos, audio, discounts, etc. Non fans will click on the custom tab then be prompted to become a fan before accessing fan only content.

Empower your visitors to invite their FB friends through a special application or code embeded into a custom FB page in FBML.

Just a few additional thoughts.....great post!

Re: Five Tasks in the Morning

1) Reach for my blackberry from bed and read messages

Turn on Comp and open:

2) Gmail (for business/organizations)
3) Skype
4) Check facebook

then...

5) Pick up Breakfast on the way to the office
-

Re: New Media University: Twitter 101 for Business

Thanks for sharing Brian. Having a complete run down of everything a business needs to know about twitter including benefits, how-to's, case studies and more in one spot and from the source is very beneficial.

Great summary post

Re: Social Media & Political Campaigns - Your Thoughts?

That's a good point. Most people on social networking sites accept friend requests from almost anybody and don't think about the majority of them after they've been accepted, unless they already have a close affiliation or relationship to them.

The people who really have a close relationship/connection with the candidates would most likely vote for them anyways.

So in my opinion, social networking sites and applications like twitter seem to be more useful to people that already are informed and want to be more connected with their chosen candidate.

However (Playing devils advocate) if you are uninformed and see one of your friends on Facebook that you respect is "Friends" with, or passionate about a certain candidate you may be swayed more to vote for him when election time comes around...Good insight!

Re: Social Media & Political Campaigns - Your Thoughts?

I completely agree that they are def not the ones adding content to their social media property. But like you said if they want to reach members of Gen X & Y that may be the best way to at least stay fresh in our minds.

Could you imagine if they were responsible for their content...It would be a full time job in itself...They prob pay someone a lot of cash to just accept all the friend requests from people on their Facebook account, which prob takes all day...lol

Thanks for the responses

Re: ted murphy | Tonight I made scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and...

I'm def a breakfast guy (all times of the day)...but I'm not feeling the ketchup on the eggs

I love eggs with cheese and.....hotdogs, kielbasa, or hamburger

and normally eat ketchup on all the above by themselves, but with on eggs...Nah I'll pass

Re: How often do you get your hair cut?

Usually every 3 weeks

Re: Embracing Change

Very good insight. It is very difficult for most people to embrace the uncertainty that comes from change. To see success one must be able to make a decision to the best of their ability with the info they have, step out with confidence and have a fertile mindset that is ready to see and act on future opportunities (Which are constantly present in an ever-changing world). Being almost 31 and achieving all that you have shows you have learned this lesson well, but sometimes it is still hard to say good buy to what used to be. Lots of great times are ahead...your def an inspiration to me
