That's +$60 per user per year. I can hear another lawsuit coming.

Re: DIGITAL DOWNLOAD: The Ins and Outs of the HTML5 Transition with Dan Mouradian (Pt. 1)

"HTML can do anything Flash can do better" -- far from true. From a creative standpoint and as far as banners go, it's missing a ton of things that Flash CAN do, even simple things. Things are getting better with HTML5, such as alpha channel video in Chrome Canary, browsers just haven't picked up yet and I have a feeling it's going to be a long while until that's the case. HTML5 is definitely the way forward though.

Re: Make a 3D Scene from a Still

Great tute Joey, never thought of the corner pin. No clue why they put that in there. Maybe needs a better CTA or maybe the instructions come back up after a few seconds after each turn (and obviously a better quality image of the bottle). I initially only turned it once and didn't get it. Would have been cool if they took it one step further and darkened the entire web page. Cute ad nonetheless (and possibly effective if you interact with it correctly).

Re: Mini: Options Slider

Love it! Only thing I'm not crazy about is when they're putting new "wheels" on. Kinda looks like they're replacing it with cheap hubcaps since they're only replacing the wheel with a 2D image "skin". Woulda been a bit nicer to see the actual wheel come off and get replaced with a true 3-dimensional image of a wheel. Otherwise this ad is niiice.

Re: Golf launch in Australia

Fun. The effect (albeit a cool Flash effect... but nothing new), doesn't do any good for the game, actually makes it look cheesy.
