...yes, because you, the remaining force of the Quincy, the very people your leader can use as living batteries should head into battle to help defeat him? Do I sense a twist where they are absorbed within the first few seconds of yelling at his majesty or am I reaching into the dark here? Actually I would find the fight to be somewhat interesting but not very long and brittle with predictability...sorry, I'm tired so I'm in a mood :/

All jokes aside, Aizen is strong but he's not stupid. I very much doubt he'd execute his revenge this early on, I'm sure he's only toying with them as usual while still plotting out something. The question is, when is he going to activate his plan and when will it best benefit him?

I've said it on here before but Ishida is a Quincy and would be involved in this fight in some direct way. Almost everyone knew this might happen and Ichigo should have known this somewhere in his mind, so to be this shocked is somewhat surprising to me. I don't know if Ishida will turn around at the last moment and try to save the day but for now he's a threat just as much as the rest and Ichigo should have been prepared for this.

I dunno, maybe it's because I'm used to people betraying me but I wasn't too shocked to see him shoot an arrow at Yoruichi like that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be negative or anything, it's just how I felt reading this chapter.

Not really sure what to make of this one, I mean we've all known that Ukitake had a severe sickness and I guess this revelation kind of makes some sense. It did give him a far larger part in this arc but it seems like this chapter was kind of...phoned in. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm tired :P

So tell me, where in your little mind was it deemed "all right" to run up and remove the sword from someone who's just been impaled with it? YOU should know not to do something like that.

Also, the fact that the enemy isn't even trying to stop you should be a hint that something is not quite right...

So, let me get this straight. You take all the time presumably training the remaining Quincies to fight for you in the battle against the Soul Society only to end up killing them the moment you need a power source? I mean I get it, but at the same time it makes all of this up until now seem kind of pointless. Especially if they were meant to be nothing but death fodder to begin with...at least the chapter's name is pretty damn fitting. Good on you Mr. Kubo, good on you.

And that line from Doflamingo "And here I was hoping it'd be for tea" I just love it. I'm so excited every chapter I read, this is going to be a great battle :D

Hmm, so it appears to be. Oh well, guess it can't be helped too much huh? It's hard to find an idea that hasn't been used before in a manga at this point but I appreciate the effort they take to try to make it somewhat different. At least the plan is very fitting for someone like Kurotsutchi.

Oh, sorry. I wasn't implying that Kubo ripped off Naruto like other people, I was just speaking from a viewer's perspective having seen something similar happening in another series. I always like it when someone devises a plan like this because it really goes to show that messing with someone's mind can be just as effective as slashing someone down with a blade. It may be a repeated idea but it's still interesting to watch none-the-less ^^

...did Kurotsuchi just pull an Itachi? Granted, what he did to Toshiro is more medical than an eye technique but I'm fairly certain Itachi did the same kind of thing to Kabuto.

...Why is Ichigo that shocked? Yeah, Ishida's he's friend but he had to have known he would be involved in this war in some way. I mean, he is a Quincy after all or did he forget that detail. Also...wtf is Inoue wearing? What is going on here Mr. Kubo? You do know you can have a story without every single female character being exposed in some way, right? I mean I know it happens a lot with characters in Bleach but this is getting ridiculous.

Also, like everyone else thought in the comment section for the last chapter, Ichigo made a remark about Kenpachi in his current state! Just like Kenpachi did to Ichigo in Hueco Mundo, now the circle is complete and the sun has risen over the horizon...*sigh*

Well, at least we'll get to see how he fairs with dual-bladed combat. I for one am interested in his new battle style along with the eventual Bankai.

I have to say, out of all the fights thus far this one has been the most interesting. I really like As Nodt, he's different from the other Quincies we've seen so far. All of them have been kind of a joke in comparison, well perhaps that's a bit unfair to say but it's how I feel. Personally I really would see this guy as an actual threat and someone you should not take lightly. Also I've said it here before but Rukia is one of my favourites so it's good to see that Byakuya won't be taking the thunder here. I was afraid of that because what would be the point of having Rukia advance so far only to be saved as if she couldn't do it in the first place. So thankfully he gave her the strength to believe in her own ability.

I like this update for Rukia, she has never been a showboat flexing power or going out of her way to fight like a nut like many other characters do. She's serious in battle and stays composed. This progression reflects that more so and makes the most sense for her abilities.

On a side note: While I'm happy to see both Rukia and Renji progressing in ways more attuned to their personalities and abilities I am still somewhat disappointed that it took this long to finally bring back a bit of the original feeling the series once gave me.

I feel that when something ends, that tale should be left behind. We all know Naruto will become Hokage in the end, the main hero always succeeds at his or her goal in stories like this. It's only a matter of how and when this will happen. So they'll give him the title and end it there with us either being left with the imagination of what will happen after that or a short glimpse of the future years later in a special chapter.

Personally I would like to see a new generation develop it's own story as a spin-off series, not just a continuation of the original. If they were to do that it would something like Konohamaru's ninja tales or something like that. I mean a good primer has already been left in place by having Naruto teach him some of his techniques along with the ones he has learned from other mentors. So who's to say this won't continue as time rolls on after the main story is over. Now granted his stories may not be as epic (or ridiculous) as Naruto's, but it will be a different spin on things that we are used to. Also it would be interesting to see the progression and how far this new age will go in accomplishing their dreams.

Well...that was interesting. Progressive stuff like this makes me want to keep reading but no more dragged out battles that become ridiculously stupid please? (I'm asking a lot there, I know...)

At this point I'm only reading Bleach because I want to see how it will end but I haven't felt that sense of enjoyment for a long time.

Well I liked "And I Love Her" & "The Children Living Amongst the Dead" the rest, not so much but to each their own right? Well anyway, a big thanks for the work done did on these chapters. These two stories made me feel kind of down for a bit which was perfect as it hit me quite well.
