Have a look through some of the 750+ PRs which have been marked as 'invalid' today alone.

These are not "not perfect" they're actively harmful.

By way of comparison, on the 29th September there were only 22 PRs marked as invalid, 13 the day before and so on. This is clearly a problem caused by Hacktoberfest.

This article was written for the December 2013 edition of Linux Format, so at the time it was completely reasonable for it to be Python 2.7 only. Given that as an organisation we only write Python 3 now, future tutorials would indeed be written in Python 3.

Do you actually think people who use spaces for indentation press the spacebar for every level indentation that they want? Because that's not the case, you just configure your editor to use spaces for indentation, to convert tabs to spaces. So when I hit Cmd+] or Tab, it inserts or removes 4 spaces. When I go to a newline it inserts the relevant number of spaces.

One thing I'm interested in hearing is how it was received by the guests. Did they prefer the invite coming via text? What was their feedback on the whole process? I'm just wondering if the lack of a human touch (usually through writing cards) changed anything.

Seems weird to reduce parking charges in the city centre as an alternative to removing the the P&R parking charge. As someone who commutes, the parking charges don't affect me, but the P&R charge does - I'm sure there's a lot of others who feel the same.

I would also suggest making a 5-day ticket available for the P&R service, at the moment you can buy a 1-day or 7-day ticket, but not a 5-day ticket which I think would be useful for commuters like myself.

XP per level caps out at level 22 or 23, with each level taking ~90 minutes from that point onwards.

I know an older chap who has a ~5 mile ride to work, he uses a motorised bike to help him get over the hills on his route. I don't have anything against this, it just makes sense.
