Just because he was shooting at the guy doesnt mean he was aiming to kill. Outside the house I would have quickly made my presence and the fact that I have a gun known, that should be more than enough to get them out of there. Inside the house is a different story, I have a family to protect so if I find you on the inside they will be taking you away in a bodybag. No second chances, no questions asked, at least not by me.

Currents and boating traffic wouldnt be much of an issue, the bridge that connects Sand Diego to North Island has a much larger area to cover with stronger current and more boating traffic than you will probably ever have here.

I live on the Northern end of the Island so not taking the ferry isnt much of an incovience for me, I normally just make the drive up the 20 then down the 5. The ferry is just a nice little treat for the kids.

If people want to send the ferry a message how about people on the island make on effort to not use it for a few days or even a week. Spend the little extra time to drive around, especially if you live on the northern side like I do.

All this boils down is difference of opinion. Some of the talk on here has mentioned unaltered MJ, which im guessing is what is used for "medical" purposes but what I am courious about is if they do legalize MJ how are they going to regulate clean MJ against MJ with other things added to it for people to get a greater high. I hope people take this into concideration as they look at the possibility of legalizing it.

Froggirl, there is a bit of a difference between 2 or 3 plants vise a whole acre that some people had mentioned. With 2 or 3 plants you may only be suppling yourself but with a whole acre you are suppling more than just yourself, and who ever gets put in charge of overseeing legal MJ and the companies that start packing it like cigerettes arent going to like competition so regulations on weather or not people can grow there own and how much they can grow will be regulated.

Well I cant say if they do, but I would have that "safe sex" would be common sense for most people. But it wouldnt suprise me if there health coverage didnt cover STD treatment

You brought the idea pf me denying freedom to my fellow citizens, I am using these other things as examples of other "freedoms" that at one time in our history was legal but is now illegal. Laws are in place for a reason. The reason might not be the right one according to you and somen others on this board but they are still there, that is why we have a system to change such laws. But while we have this system, I by no means have any requirement that says I have to agree with what everyone else wants. I am free to vote against such as measure just as you are free to vote for it.

I dont need to do research I have seen what people are like when using it. I knew several people in Jr High and High school that smoked it and I can clearly remember the way it made them act. Now I cant tell you weather or not it was unaltered MJ or if it had other things in it, but I dont really care either.

Also people talk about just growing it themselves, lets get real if they do legalize it they will make sure to put somthing in the bill that will ban people from growing it themselves so that they can regulate and tax it as they seem fit.

Oh ya and by the way I may be in the Military as many have most likely figured out but I am also Washington state resident and have been most my life.

How would changing the way it is consumed make a difference. I cant speak about all employers but a good number of companies out there do random drug screenings for different illegal controlled. And many others go as far as to discourage there employee's from using legal control substances such as tobacco. WHO is one such company that requires there employee's to be tobacco free. Makes perfect sense to me, smoking isnt healthy and im sure the health cost to companies for employee's that do have smoking related problems is most likely extremely high.

Dont get me wrong I am all for personal freedom, but there are line that need to be crossed. If we were to give every american the freedom they want then we would still have older men marrying teenage girls and polygamy would also be legal. I see it as a stepping stone for people to try to make other less dangerous drugs legal, "E" for example. I know that my thought process might be abit on the extreme side, but I do believe opening it would lead to larger problems.

The Navy will look continue to look at it from a safety standpoint. Its not a good idea to have someone that is impaired flying or performing maintenance on aircraft, handleing ordanance or standing a armed security watch.

And yes I am well aware that there are people in the military that continue to smoke it, but almost everyone that does gets caught and discharged and I cant help but to laugh at them for it.

You know there are alot of companies out there that require there employees to be non-smokers or be in the process of quiting. I would just love to see them do the same thing with mj if it does become legal.

I feel the same, just last week I got stuck behind a guy on Heller right at the Whidbey/Heller light just before the school and I ended following him all the way to the base and he didnt go above 25. It was abit annoying

No its not all about me, but I look at it as more of a reward for not being dumb enough to want to do the crap. Also they are wanting to downsize the military and this will surely do it. As for controlling and taxing it I think that will be rather difficult to do cause people will just grow there own and people will still by it from some on the street cause it will be cheaper then going to a AMPM and paying taxes on it.

Also I have a family to think about and support so if a bunch of addicts want to get out so they can get high, and it allows me the room to advance so I can get paid more then im not going to complain. But as is I will still vote NO if it ever comes up on the ballet

Ok im split on this argument, Personally I hope it fails and remains illegal. Dont like it to bad, im free to my opinion. On the other hand even if it does become legal the military will keep it banned and discharge people for using it. So the number of people that decide not to reenlist and get out so they can smoke it will increase, which in turn will make it easier for me to advance ranks and get paid more.

To settle the argument why not just ditch the ferry system and build a highway that connects Clinton to Mukilteo, It would give local construction works something to do and it would take away the need for parking. Why expensive at first in the long run it should prove to be more cost effective that keeping the ferry up and running

With this being said I wonder what an exceptable amount of time before a relationship can begin? If he see someone only once does he have to wait 3-5 years? Also the comment "the extent to which a patient has confided in the physician" call me crazy but I would like to think that anyone I am involved with would be willing to telling me anything they would tell there doctor. I know there are somethings that people just want to keep to there selfs but if you are intimately involved with a person, I like to think that person has a right to know if you have any medical problems.

I have to agree with you about the signals needing to last longer. Im young and still find that sometimes a jog is needed to get across larger interesections before the light changes. One thing that I have seen in larger areas that I like is the above street crossing, while a pedestrian bridge most likely isnt cost effective for a place this small, they are nice.

Also this is were as drivers we need to pay alittle more attention to whats going on, I have been in several near misses due to other drivers talking on there cell or trying to drink there coffee and what not.

As the Duck Hunting comment was abit distasteful, im thinking she may have been mostly prefering to the ones that ignore property signs and hunt on someone lands. I cant say for sure as I dont live on the beach so I dont have a problem with this, in other areas i have lived I have had hunters come on my families property going after game. Its abit hard to claim ignorance when you have to go through a fence to get on the property

One thing that does bug me is that people are so quick to state that men are physically stronger than women. While in general that is true it is still a blanket statement. There are plenty of women out there that have the physical strength to cause serious harm to a man, and there are plenty of men out there with extermly small and frail bodies. Society need to get rid of the gender side of this issue cause DV is a two way street, weather it be physical, mental, emotional, verbal or psycological abuse men and women are capable of commiting it.

Before passing judgement one way or another let us wait untill the investigation is finished. There are two different accounts of the story so who is to say what really happened. He may very well have snapped and attacked her or she may have attacked him and acted out of self defense. And yes sometimes a man does have to use physical strength against someone even a woman if he is doing so in self defense. Just because you are a woman doesn't mean you have the right to sit there and strike at a guy thinking that they cant touch you without fear of being arrested. Society needs to get a grip and and wake up, a woman is capable of DV against a man. Case in point someone my father works with was a victim of DV, while he slept wife came home drunk from a girls night out and started beating him with a bat, he struck her while trying to get the bat out of her hands and he was arrested. WTF is up with something like that. Now I dont know what all was going on in there lifes but he acted in self defense and was arrested simple cause he was the man. Then again in todays society you can be arrested for DV simply for yelling to loud.

Im happy to say I am doing my part to help. Just this last weekend I adopted a cat from WAIF, my kids really love him. Wife saw a puppy she liked but cat have dogs at our place.
