I have to disagree!! The fact that Clear Channel bit off more than they could chew by attempting to monopolize the radio industry is why things are going the way they are. The fact that CEO's are giving themselves big bonuses is the reason for the way radio is going. So your new fresh talent that instead of being paid what your worth would rather work for free, is attitudes like that which have screwed the game up, it is just like undercutting in the DJ game," oh he will do your event for that, well I will do it for this, sell yourself short if you want to and if that is your idea of frsh talent coming in than you can have that. If you haven't been in the business than you looking from the outside in can cloud your judgement and have you speaking on things in which you don't have knowledge and don't understand. I was part of the cuts at clear channel but luckily I am smart enough and talented enough that I have 2 stations and believe me the people that were let go are not being replaced and I had number 1 numbers 14 share, and they didn't care. The CEO's that run CC hand down a decision to the people who are going to stay on and those indviduals execute the plan, that's it end of story. If you are not fully aware that the economy is in a volatile state than I suggest you climb from under the rock you are under and join reality with the rest of us. Have a blessed day!!!

Russ Parr has also been following the presidetial election as well as encouraging all to register to vote before the dead lines and he has been driving the point home everyday of how important it is to get out and vote on November 4th.
