Hey Melissa. I saw a picture on instagram of your folded CDs and was wondering if youve changed any of your preferences now that you have a boy? We've been using prefolds through a service but will be switching to aios/ pockets for daycare in about a month for our twins boys. Any insight would be helpful!

In my last weeks foodography post I really held back my opinion about the entire ordeal and actually asked my editor if I could start being a little more... well, ME in my write ups. I wasn't sure how he would feel about me representing the Citypages with my perspective, but he has pretty much given me the go ahead to be critical, and actually is encouraging it.

Sigh.... this is really something. I wish you would have said something sooner. I attended the lunch version of the press release and was just as underwhelmed (though continued to tweet about it, feeling it to be my "job" or something). Honestly, I never cared about Azia... why would I care about this? And the revisiting of the 1910's perception of asian americans? Perhaps we can compare this to our current fascination with returning to Mad Men era clothing, when women were thought of as nothing but secretaries or sex symbols (or both). The already terrible name of this restaurant is made even worse by what you've reported, and the "ha ha's" that go along with not being able to understand someone whose native language isn't English is juvenile and pathetic.

Um, I recognize that kid as Teddy from Full House. Since I was a fucking crazy ass 11 year old, I know he was also the brother of Tia and Tamera Banks. And come to think of it, what the happened to them? Don't get me going on the full house thing. We can argue for hours about why Danny Tanner was married to a greek woman and had three really blonde kids. I'm pretty sure joey is the father... though he might have actually been gay. But then didn't that guy (Dave Coulier) marry Alanis Morissett at some point? I'm on the brinks of embarrassing myself, sooo I'm just gonna stop.

Maybe it's from a muppet movie, but I think one of my favorite jim hansen' food related skits had to do with a tossed salad being slung at the customers head. Awesome.
