This guy wanted to get away from the cops not because he wanted to hurt them but that he believed they wanted to hurt him. Oh and now he's dead. By the way idiot, mental illnesses like schizophrenia are things you have to constantly change meds on. So he very well could have been taking the meds that doctors prescribed him. Chances are they were starting to wear off and he needed them changed ...

I don't know if this fits here... but it's worth a read for anyone that has an intrest in AGT and Performance art...

But my feeling, even though I don't know where the conversation as ledd too... This is a great example of good magicians that aren't given enough time to practice and choreograph a great illusion into a great routine... instead it becomes a great illusion into a "Eha" routine. Something tells me they were told by the producers what they should do and how they should do it... This is is a big reason why I think that Magician's will not excel far into the finals of AGT other then who already has... Great magicians like Teller & Penn will work on a routine for years before it see's the lights of the stage... These magicians on AGT are only given days. I could be wrong though... It's just an opinion.

I would just like to point out that it is known among the magic community that Criss Angel himself does cerate fake login accounts on various websites to monotor what people will say about him... I keep finding it odd that all these people like the one that keeps mentioning the "Clock Sucker" reference are in huge support of Criss Angel the way they are. This is a Magic News website. A forum targeted to the direction of magicians. And I know from being a performing magician and a very active member of the Magic Castle that (guessing) 1 out of every 40 magicians in a given night at the castle that have seen Believe think is is a good show... The best compliment that I have herd of the recent revamp of the show is "It's better... but thats not saying much...". I too will admit it is better. It went from a confusing story of a dream world with not plot or ending, too a magic show with a few good illusions. Down fall to the show is Criss' attitude, the guy cusses through out the show then lectures his sidekick when he cusses saying "There are kid's in the audience" he then goes on to say word's outside of the PG material even more! And I feel that Criss Angel is not trying to be an original performer, he has an unnatural Richiardi type feel to him which is not bad if you are inspired by Richiardi but he has not natural feel to him self on the stage. Plus a really bad beginning to the show, (curtains open with him levitating in a spot light as if to pay homage to his levitating in the Luxor light stunt and he floats down to the stage to be greeted by someone that takes off his jacket...) Questions that I have on that, Where is the proof that he is not hooked to wires? And Why is she taking off his jacket? (If anyone answers as if I don't know the answers to the questions then you really need to question why I visit this website) If the guy didn't want his jacket on then why didn't he just take it off before he started the show? Ok, Point is I could go on for hours about the flaws in Criss Angel's past and present. But who ever said that they think Believe is the best Magic show on the strip? You have not seen enough magic shows then. The magicians say it got better then it did (not buy much though) The Cab Drivers tell people its not worth the money. It's ok if you are that 1 out of 40 though, I'm not one to judge on personal taste. Penn & Teller. best magic show in Vegas... Mac King is the best magic show on the strip in my view... There now you have an honest opinion that is not jaded or vindictive in any way but it still paints Criss Angel in a bad image... I am very curious to see how this will be replied to...

Usually I am not one to call someone out on thievery of another performers material in such a public way. I try to give the performer the benefit of a doubt first and approach them first. I am positive that David Crosser is a great person and meant no harm in his actions. I would like to give credit where it is deserved though. Yes the transformation act is a move for move of Darren Brown's effect on 'An Evening Of Wonders' but the opening of his coming out of the box that cruches the old puppet man is also stolen from Ed Alonzo, he uses it as his opening bit that can be seen here in this video

The primis to P&T Fool Us is that they are only given one shot to give one explanation as to how the effects are done. All effects in magic have many methods behind them. But P&T are only allowed to give one example of theory so it doesn't mean that they were fooled. They just went with the best hunch at that exact moment..

"Magician of the Year" is not something that gets voted on by the members of the Castle. The only awards that are voted on bu its members are Close Up, Parlor, Stage & Lecture of the year. The Magician of the Year is decided on by the Board of the Magic Castle and given as an award of excellence to an individual that has devoted and given so much to the progression for the art of magic. So Lu Chen could very well be the 2011 AMA Magician of the Year if the board has already decided on it.

Yes I can be a Douche, but how about being the douche that knows not a damn thing about the situation or even knowing anyone involved and jumping to a conclusion cuss you read something in the press. You don't know me and the way you act I would be much better off not knowing you. I am proud of who I am, I am proud of my friend's.

Here is a question that has yet to come up. On the audio file you hear Angel threatening Monti to knock him out. Well there were security cameras at the offices how come Angel hasn't released the video proving he never touched Monti? Instead we get all of Angel's employes giving their input on the subject. People who would really like to keep their job's I am sure.

Angel is a great guy for things that he has done in the past to help other's. Hes also a douche for things that he has done in the past. The Cameron Diaz thing, his wife, Banacheck Johny Thompson and various others parting ways with the show. He screwed someone he called a friend at the Luxor cuss he wanted to be the only featured magician performing in the building. The battle between Kenner and him self was provoked before it hit twitter, The Valentino incident that never happend at his party, He even sued a 16 year old kid cuss he made fun of him. He is a classy guy...

If Joe was my only friend I would be OK with that. I am damn proud to call him a friend. Just like I am proud to call other's who have had troubling incidents with Angel my friend's as well...

I am confused, but thats what happens when you try to read a poorly formed paragraph of useless nonsense cerated by a writer that thinks if they write sentences with a demeaning tone that it will give them the last laugh. if you want a last laugh learn when not to use to many spaces or -, plus if you are going to use quotation marks maybe you should use them to quote something. Writing like this just looks like it was written by a 17 year old girl sitting in a mall trying to get free wifi from the McDonald's going to head to Hot Topic after this comment was written...

Wow now you just proved that you are part of the Angel Camp... I never said that Monti was my "Mentor" but the only one's who would even know of my association with him and that would asume him to be my mentor would be individuals in his camp. You tend to know somethings about me if you know my about my finger flicking friend's. And sure I may be a "No-One" too you but I am a someone to the people I love and care about. I will defend those people that I love just as sure as I am that they would defend me.

I was not there for the incident I know nothing about the details of what happend. Hell I dont even care about the details I only care that my friend (Not mentor) is ok. My defense is not based on who's right or who's wrong. It is based on the knowledge that Monti is a very caring and loving individual that put's his family first and magic second.

I have no problem with Angel, Im sure and you can read by his employe's he is a great guy. The little interaction that I have had with him he was pleasant. But I have keept the stories of incidents in mind blowing every one of them off until this one with Monti. I only lost respect for Angel as a person when I herd him say “Get out of my place before I knock you out.”. You know for someone that is in the press many times in the past (Valentino, Holly Madison, His ex wife) he sure seams to be a saint that never does anything wrong... Kinda makes you wonder.

Now were gonna go through the game I post this and your going to deny having anything to do with Angel while others are going to bash me for defending my friend. Ill end the game and ask why hate on a "No-one"? I do find it funny that a website that is usually full of more individuals that have something bad to say about Angel then do sure did flood up with more supporters of Angel just in the knick of time to defend him. Ironic how that works out. I understand what Dancy & Malloy are doing. I dont blame them Dancy never denied that he wasn't in debt due to his tragic circumstance that yes is not a personal matter that should be shared with the world unless he didn't bring it up him self to make it public. And Malloy is on the payroll of Criss Angel. I dont blame them, it show's great loyalty to their work.

Keep in mind I am a "No-One" Someone will attack me and Ill just laugh at the fact that they are hating on a "No-One" I may not have the house or the TV show but I do have one thing better then all of that, Pride. I can hold my head up strong and know with confidence that I will never second guess my self on if I did the right thing.

And I will be damned if this whole comment's section will be flooded with hate towards an individual that I know not to be a violant individual with out someone other then Hal (who I will give a lot of respect to cuss he has given unbiased comments over this whole topic knowing his past with Monti and there heated debates) Giving there honest opinion who has nothing to gain from either side.

Marty think before you speak. This so called livid magician at the Magic Castle Incident did not happen enven remotely close to what you recall. I should know I was sitting right next to him durning it. He was not drunk and he was not heckling his comment that started the problem with the performer was said out of a question that was directed towards him. Slime of the earth? Grow up Monti is extremely loved by more then he is hatted in Magic community. You may not like him thats OK but do not tarnish his name. But most likely youre getting paid to do it. For all I know you are part of Angel's camp. Cuss I know that he has many people that surf the net defending him. Hell even he has come to this site under false names and fought with some of the Angel Bashers under a false screen name. He even has a fake Facebook page so he can track people. Chances are you might be Angel or one of the first to comment on this subject are angel.

I respect Angel as a performer and some of the reasons that he gets bashed are highly invalid. But now I feel comfortable to state my opinion of him as a person. Angel is truly the face of a douche. This incident with Monti is not the first time he has done something like this to one of his "friends"... Monti recorded the incident so that he could have proof of it for the cops. Where Angel blatantly states that he is touching Monti and threatening to "knock him out. what was released is only a small portion there is more to it. Angel has physically and verbally assaulted many friends of mine. The only friends he has now are either people he wants to use to make him self look better like Celebrities or people that get a pay check. He threw his true friends out like they were trash. Shows what type of person he is. He has nothing now. He has to auction off his cars because he put so much into his house.

If Angel was in the Process of firing Monti there better ways of doing it then how he did. A boss doesn't treat anyone the way he did...
