We put in at Bellow's Bridge up in Woodsville and headed down stream to the Wilder Dam in VT.  This is a perfect sized trip for anyone with the time.  The river is lined with free campsites on both NH and VT's side.  We saw a lot of wildlife including a bald eagle, deer, herons, and hawks.
