It's true that it's possible to survive that, but I'm still pretty sure he was dead. I'll have to rewatch the episode, but I think they said something about him dying.

Now, as for the part about inferring there's no chance of Claire's blood being able to ressurect people, I'm going to have to disagree. We've seen Claire, Peter, Sylar, and I believe Adam die and come back to life plenty of times.

It has been show in Season 2 that Claire's ability is practically in her blood. If she can come back from the dead, why couldn't her blood bring someone back? It probably kick starts the heart and brain, and heals whatever damage was done.

Since Claire can only die by brain damage/decapitation, I think it's reasonable to say that her blood could have healed Noah's brain damage and brought him fully back to life.

Something strange about that would be: wouldn't Noah have no need for his glasses anymore? I would imagine his eyes would be healed too. Although his vision was damaged by a man with a light-generating ability, so maybe the damage is irreversible.

Anyways, I see where you're coming from, I just believe that she could bring people back from the dead, and now the writers are taking it away from the show.

Mohinder shot Noah through the eye. He was 100% dead. They don't do her blood thing anymore because they probably realized that it was bad writing and would make it hard to kill off the characters close to Claire. It has nothing to do with whether or not Claire would actually do it if she could.

Can't wait for this episode tonight, still hoping Peter will get his powers back.

If everyone is exposed in the next episode, then they really do have to come back for a 5th season. It would open up such a huge world of possibilities. There would be the normals who loved them and saw the as superheroes, then there would be those who hated them and wanted to send them away. All the Heroes and Villains would choose sides and everything could become like the possible future where Claire is evil (hope so) and Peter is leading everyone on the good side (with more than one ability). Really looking forward to the last two episodes!!

Sorry man but Claire never said that. She did come back with something that was probably a first aid kit, but then again, most first aid kits don't have syringes in them to begin with. Another thing would be that in Season 2, Claire's blood brought Noah back from the dead after Mohinder shot him in the eye. Claire was aware of this because she saw him die and he came back to her, and I'm pretty sure he explained the situation.

I thought the thing about Lydia dying was ridiculous. Not just because she died, but because Claire was there and just said "put pressure on the wound" instead of saying "oh wait I have healing blood." I mean seriously, I know the writers want us to forget about the Season 2 blood thing, but she did mention it to Peter when he was talking about Hiro's tumor. I thought that might mean it would come back into play a little bit, but I guess not. She just let Lydia die.

Other than that, great episode. I look forward to the Peter/Sylar thing in the next episode. It's awesome that Matt did the thing that his father did to Molly in Season 2. Awesome strategy, Matt earned my respect back, after being such a wimp throughout the season.

I never said anything about not enjoying the show, I'm saying you can't just have Hiro go back to Season 1 and delete two seasons of the show. I'm thoroughly enjoying this season.

P.S.- Monkeys have incredibly high I.Q.'s. Think of a better example next time.

I bet you can't name even 2 powers that Peter had that were useless. Sylar is the one with a hundred useless abilities because he doesn't ever use half of them. When was the last time he used that disitengration ability he got near the end of Season 3? Oh right, the writers have no idea what they're doing with him. Sorry I forgot. The show was mostly about Sylar throughout all of Season 3 and it's ridiculous. So yes, Peter does need his powers back, someone has to counteract Sylar the packrat of abilities.

Technically Hiro didn't make up the thing about Sylar dying alone. At that time he thought Sylar died at the end of Volume 4, when it was really the shapeshifter who was burning. Noah, Angela and Matt told everyone else that Sylar was dead, no one even knew he was alive until Peter found out from the hospital thing with Matt and Nathan. Hiro told him what he believed.

Noo ahh I hate the idea of Peter taking Sylar's empathy. It just wouldn't be the same, because Peter could always somehow touch someone and accidentally take their power like he did to Emma, then he loses every power he has gained through Sylar's empathy. I just want Peter's abilities to evolve so he still needs contact to gain abilities, but he can have as many as he can get.

Not to mention, Sylar has a different kind of empathy than Peter used to have. Sylar's is more like understanding the ability without examining the brain. Peter actually felt it, and absorbed powers simply by proximity. Sylar has to focus on it.

Tracy's powers are synthetic, however they evolved into her being able to turn into water instead of just freezing things. I believe it's very possible for Peter's powers to evolve.

I really don't like the idea of Peter absorbing Sylar's empathy. If he does this, no matter how many powers he gets, there's always the possibility of him absorbing one person's power by touch (probably accidentally like he did to Emma.) and then losing empathy, and thereby all the powers he has collected by it. Not to mention, Sylar has to try to use empathy, Peter's old empathy just gave him the powers without him trying. I just want Peter's power to evolve so he can absorb as many powers as he wants, just by touch. This way he has complete control over what powers he gets, unlike in Season 1 where he accidentally collected too many powers and almost blew up New York. Then again, he knows how to use abilities a lot better now. Still, I just want his power to evolve once he gets back in touch with his empathetic side. Just like Angela said, he's empathetic beyond his years but now the time has come for him to grieve and he doesn't know what to do. Once he properly grieves over Nathan and has more connections to other people (Claire, Emma, possibly Angela and Noah, etc.) he will most likely be able to attain more than one ability.

I don't think the writers would make him absorb powers from his past self. Plus, why the hell would Hiro try to kill Peter? Come on man. I think the most likely thing is that Peter's power will evolve into him being able to take multiple powers by touch. Then, hopefully he will recall all of the powers he has absorbed since he's had his new ability. I doubt he will absorb empathy from Sylar or his past self, that just seems ridiculous. If you think about it, it doesn't make sense for the writers to give him this new power to simply regain empathic mimicry again, even though his base power would still be apility replication.

Wow I never even thought of the possibility of Peter just absorbing Samuel's ability like he did to Sylar at the end of Volume 4. That would make me incredibly mad, I would definitely stop watching atfer that. I told myself that I would never stop watching Heroes, but Peter hasn't had his powers since near the beginning of Volume 3, and it's getting really annoying. He's been my favorite character since Season 1 and I'm so sick of him not being at full power.

Exactly what I was saying, I don't see how so many people overlooked the fact that he asked her to call West. Pretty obvious. I also agree that this is his way of grieving and remembering Nathan. I'm hoping he gets in touch with his empathy soon since he cares about a good amount of people lately. Namely Nathan, Claire, and Emma. Maybe in the next episode he'll get through to Emma with empathy and start getting powers back. Then again, I've been saying "maybe in the next episode" ever since Arthur took his powers. He has to get them back eventually, he's done this one power show for long enough.

What? I said that Claire probably called West like Peter asked her to, and West flew over and Peter took his ability. He didn't just get it out of nowhere. Honestly I have no idea how you think what I said didn't make sense.
