to death, it is nearly impossible to navigate through the comments to
find what you are looking for. It takes forever for the page to format
and when it finally does many of the old comments are reduced to a
single character on the page.

It makes me sad, too.

I want to scream each time I read the words “out of context”. Unfortunately, many non-Muslims seem to be satisfied by this simple “explanation”. I speak about Islam to everyone willing to listen to me (and some who are not) and am shocked by those who defend it while knowing nothing about it. Ask them to tell you what they know about “the religion of peace” and the conversation will immediately be over - a blank stare followed by silence. Dangerous ignorance will continue to help Islam advance. And those “few” Muslims who act out according to their “misinterpretations” of verses in the Quran…. the ones rampaging, honor-killing and raping on Western soil…. the ones responsible for the more than 19,000 terror attacks committed in the name of Allah since 9/11? We don’t need to worry about them. Just the other day I was told that they are not “true Muslims” and while I have heard those words fall from the mouths of lying Muslims many times, this was the first time I ever heard them spoken by a non-Muslim!!

Yes, Beejj, IAC does seem to be dying a very slow death. I, too, would like to know what has happened.

Please tell us where in the Quran it states that the first wife must give consent for her husband to take additional wives. Allah gave permission to Muslim males to take up to 4 wives - Period! And please, do not start whining that a woman can add a “no additional wives” clause to the marriage contract. Worthless.

Personally, I could not care less how many marriages are allowed to Muslims in Sharia-governed hell-hole countries. What is really sickening, though, is the fact that Muslims who immigrate to the UK receive extra welfare benefits for each of their wives and their God-knows-how-many brats. In the US they sign their extra wives on as “extended family”. The verse you cite does not support your explanation for why Islam allows polygamy: “If you deem it best for the orphans…” You said: “it stops a man from committing illicit acts such as adultery in which problems arise within a marriage”. So, which is it? Is it for the sake of the kiddies or is it to protect unfaithful Muslim pigs from being held accountable for their marital indiscretions? Muslim women should not have a problem with their husbands sleeping with other women as long as he calls them “wife”?? What are your thoughts about “temporary marriages”? Yes, I hate seeing women wearing black bed sheets in public. I hate seeing any representation of Islam. Another thing that disturbs me is what appears to be a growing effort by so called devout Muslim women to “modernize” the hijab. I see evidence of this everyday. If the purpose of the hijab is to maintain modesty and attract as little attention as possible, why are more and more Muslim women wearing hijabs made of lace, lamé, animal prints or other brightly colored fancy patterns with embellishments. They wear these with tight jeans and form fitting tops and jewelry. They wear 8 pounds of eyeshadow, liner and mascara; called Arabic eyes, I think. Google it. Look on YouTube, too. You’ll see lots on hijab “fashion”. The posters of these videos ignore the comments from angry “devout” Muslims who tell them they look like “western whores” and such outfits are not Islamic. And we all know what happens to Muslim women who become too “westernized”. These women would never get away with dressing like that in an Islamic country, but don’t hesitate to do as they like here while screaming for their “religious” rights. Muslims living in the West feel entitled to pick and choose which aspects of their sick and twisted religion they wish to adhere to and then demand that we give them special rights.
