Lindelof has already proven he's best at sequels (The Leftovers, Watchmen), so I could see him applying the same sensibilities to The Dark Tower as a sequel, as the final pages of the series sets up.

Most of what was written was in reaction to what was already published here at Elephate, so I don't remember seeing it as a problem. But yeah, it does make sense. Examples: 22.86 Centimeter Nails = NIN; kilo of cocaine = 2.2 pounds of coke; etc. Thanks.

My fear is Savitar is going to be Earth-3 Flash/Father Flash. I don't think the show needs another betrayal from someone close. Just once I'd like them to unmask the big bad and for it to be some random guy.

Ostatnia Rodzina (The Last Family) recently opened here in Poland, and it is about Beksinski and covers the last 30 years of his life. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks great.

I really loved the filmmaking, but it didn't work for me as a story. My biggest problem is when you have the masked intruders lurking in the background for no apparent reason whatsoever except for the audience to be creeped out. It serves the audience, not the story.

One of the best discoveries I've made living in Poland was Kapuscinski's work. His book are thoughtful, enlightening and beautiful. It's a shame it took me so long to discover him.

I'm a huge Amos fan as well, but her music clearly isn't the same as it once was.

If I had to guess, I'd say she found happiness, and her muse just doesn't know how to respond to that.

His interactions with Fitzgerald would be enough for a movie on its own, and there is some amazing stuff there to do a story on. Hemingway took me a long time to like, and once I did, I was kicking myself for taking so long.

There is a fantastic audiobook of The Sun Also Rises read by William Hurt that is amazing. I've left it in my iPod and even when it comes up on shuffle, I listen to it. I've probably heard the novel a dozen times by now.
