Paul,

How much do you use OneNote 2013 with Surface Pen on your SP3? Have you bumped into the Disappearing Ink bug that I reported? I've got my SP3 back on Windows 8.1 right now but want to get back to Windows 10. I was hoping there might be some progress on that issue.

Can you post your results to testing that issue? all you need to do is bring up OneNote 2013, OneNote Preview or even Windows Journal and try to write some text, move the page up, write some more text, and rinse-repeat. If any of the written text disappears, then the bug has not been resolved.

The Windows tablet experience sucks in general. Up to now, most of the experience I have with Surface has been with the keyboard attached. As we get closer to release, we're going to see more and more of Tablet Mode and see how well (or how NOT well) it looks and functions. I hate to say, "let's wait and see; but yeah..."

It appears that this is related to the "palm resting on your screen while you write" technology in Windows 10. Both the OneNote and Windows 10 Teams are working on a fix for this.

However, there currently isn't a solution for this, and the issue still exists in Windows 10 Build 10049. If you need OneNote 2013 as a critical path app, then you need to get off of Windows 10 and go back to Windows 8.1.

I agree that something is broken. Every time I try to boot from the USB stick that my SP3 creates via the Recovery tool in Windows 8.1, I get a UEFI boot error indicating that the boot information is bad and that I need to see my system administrator or send my device to Microsoft for service.... so I did.

I took the device to the local Microsoft Store and they ended up replacing it. However, the new one, does the same thing. I'm not certain what the issue is...but something isn't right.

how about Shazaam?? From an iPod/iPhone perspective, this app seems to be the best candidate, AND I think it has the best chance of getting acquired. the developer could be coerced/convinced to give it up; and it has been one of the quintessential pay apps in the App Store. (and with 3g, it works anywhere, regardless of WiFi access or not)

Its actually law here in IL, but I use compost-able/earth friendly lawn and leaf bags for grass clippings. They are hauled away every week and used to make compost.

I think this is a great deal; and...AND, the Heist has already cleared $570!! All apps have been unlocked as of 215p on 4/6/09 (I just checked...)!

I would love to buy this thing, but I struggle with the amount of use I would get out of it. Most of the tools that I use are on the Windows side...
