I'll bite. SELinux is a massive PITA to setup, while AppArmor is currently unmaintained (Novell laid off their staff) and as far as I know no individual project has formed to take up the reigns.

Hehe, a distro I used to use pulled that shit too. The funny part is the page didn't render correctly even in Firefox.
http://sabayonlinux.org - that's the distro, not sure if they still do the asstarded IE blocking.

My favorite bug experience has to be with KDE. Amarok crashed and it generated the little send error report dialog through email. I dutifully sent it. About a week later, a developer replies, and starts bitching that I didn't include debugging symbols and that the report was useless. I found it funny the dev was blaming me for my distros problems.

Just one problem: If you bothered to read the linked article, you'd find that the writer is, in fact, an interface designer for Canonical and was asked to review 5.04 by Canonical.

I've been a reader of XKCD for a while, and my enthusiasm for his blog was killed when he announced his endorsement of a political candidate based on the fact that said candidate released some of his content under a copyleft license. I really look at more important things in my leaders than what license they release fucking photos under.

Actually I did (Winamp supports both Vorbis and FLAC out of the box). Though I prefer ALAC since you can use it on an iPod.

Things I did this week with Windows Vista:
*Played Morrowind and Oblivion each for several days straight with 100+ FPS and nary a crash or slowdown.
*Listened to my extensive music library consisting of multiple different audio file formats(AAC, MP3, mpc, WMA) without having to fuck with multiple codec packages
*Enjoyed hardware mixing support with my sound card
*Watched Flash videos, and didn't endure a crash in Firefox, which happens daily in linux (even on 32 bit)
*Was actually able to make useful documents in MS Office that have consistent formatting

You forgot to mention that the OpenMoko has only recently released their first consumer ready version, and already there are _THREE_ different software stacks available for it (GTK, ASU, and FSO).
