I commute to university every day. It takes about an hour. I like to spend it productively as I can- I usually read or do work though if I'm tired I'll just listen to music and zone out... and people watch. I agree on the cute guys thing! Like in a recent train journey of mine there was a very cute guy sitting opposite me. He looked over at me and our eyes met- it was embarassing being caught. but he fell asleep so I could sneak glances as much as a I wanted. XD oh and also people who sleep on the train amaze me. I wonder how they can do it and how they don't miss their stops- they always seem to know exactly when to wake!

I admire the Japanese diet a lot. Their attitude to fruit and vegetables, and to sweets seems much healthier. sure they have their junk but it seems much more balanced. I also love how clean Japan is. For large cities it doesn't feel polluted at all, compared to like London. The toilets were also largely clean. but the squatting toilets...how do they even work?! there was nothing worse than a public toilet with no western style option XD

It's all online through edufire. You click "join" and then a window pops up and you log in and you're in an online virtual learning enviroment with a video feed of the teacher and a chat window etc It's really cool. Wish I had a screenshot for you but I....don't sorry (_ _)

This sounds strangely fun (even if there should be more zombies, or Godzilla) I'd love to win a copy! I would buy it but free stuff is always better. ^^ It will be useful in the summer when I'm out of school and plan to devote alot of time to my language studies :D I especially need to try and remember the Kanji... right now I know one. Just one. :D

You are going to London? How awesome! I hope you're mom gives way and allows you to go to the live- even if you are by yourself it should be OK (maybe? The UK is pretty safe after all...) And you will be 16 too (wait....you are only 16? For some reason, I thought you were around 17/18 ish. haha. Sorry).

I know the feeling of not being able to see someone because of distance all too well unfortunatly- so I do feel very lucky right now.

And I think it is amazing when people travel out of entire countries by themselves. I remember on the way back from south africa once bumping into a girl from holland who had just come back from visiting someone in another country- and she was only like 15. She seemed so cool about it though. As you said, not all people are alike and and don't want / aren't allowed to travel alone.

I do plenty for my sister in return (I think).

And I don't think anything amazing like that will happen. Although it is a small venue (I think) so I think the atmosphere should be good...to atleast make one feel close to them :D It's gonna be an awesome birthday though, I agree!

Thank you. I tend to be quite indecisive so yeah... I change things alot. (I know that's a bad thing to do technically)

Unprotected sex. Some christians believe that you shouldn't use protection because you're stopping the potential for life being formed- which goes against Gods will. Yes, it's stupid but that is only from our point of view. Although I read that article and well...I do wonder. All their kids names begind with "J" too o_o

It's the thought that counts whether one of two or a dozen :D And you are admirable for calling them back for the money- I admit I may have...taken it. XD

But yes, usually you can get some things cheaper if you don't get them from a specialized place. Like a department store sells rice for £3 (not kidding there) and a supermarket sells it for about 50p. Way the world works unfortunatly.

And that sounds like an interesting situation. I myself have been left alone with my mother who I also don't not get on with but not exactly friends... it does end up rather awkward at times. Maybe you and your dad will become closer? Or you can just focus on summer school haha ^^

I wouldn't usually lie, or even meet up with anyone from the internet if I didn't have as much evidence they exist as I do with Amanda. :D I've been taught not to meet strangers since I was a child, I wouldn't usually go against it. And I told my friend...I tell her everything ^_^

I know what you mean about putting it off. I have wanted to learn Japanese for a long time but was never really serious about it until now. I finally realised that if I want to study abroad I may just need to know atleast some Japanese ^_^

And I agree to a certain extent that a tutor or set classes are pretty important. They don't give you a chance to procrastinate because you have set deadlines, not ones you have made by yourself and thus are easily put aside. I am taking free classes on edufire right now and it's definitly useful with giving a focus for my studies : ) But some people are really good at managing time and striving towards goals by themselves so in a way it's down to the persons personality (as you probably said somewhere :P )

Thanks! And yeah, you do have alot more responsibility as you get older- which is both a good and bad thing. There are some things I look forward to, but at the same time..some not so much.
