I didn't even realize some of these places were based after actual places. That cave looks pretty awesome, just like the book. I'd have to reread one of the novels before going, but I'd love to visit someday. Looks like it even still has its charm.

We have a large Latino population at my school and I am always looking for good books. This sounds like a good one.

Also, I am home all day during the summer and my wife loved it too. Until July hit and now she wants a break from me, I think.

Wow. This is a real trial and something that would be really tough for me as a parent. I love the outdoors. But, if I were a kid, I would have loved it if my mom was constantly buying me Gatoraide!

I feel the same way about my wife. She has a great sense of humor, but if I can get her to laugh out loud, I know I have said something truly funny. Rarely is it anything as funny as THIS though.

Okay, I am probably an idiot, but I have no idea what a heat index is. I assume it has something to do with humidity, which we have none of. It's a dry, death heat here. But yours is probably worse.
