Not only athletes need a regular schedule.

No one has ever accused me of being an athlete! (I've teased that in high school I did the ARTS of sports because I announced football and basketball for 4 years - sure didn't want my body to be punished!)

As someone who is now in the Medicare years, I find my regular sleep schedule helps keep me feeling fit. I also, after being inspired by Dai, regularly attend my gym and have built up considerable muscle. I figured I worked about 60 years to get this body and NOW I'm working to get the body I OUGHT to have.

Very hot! But please: DON'T go without a helmet - if someone hits you and you fly off the bike, or you hit something and fly over the handlebar, you'll be glad your helmet saved you!

Now that I own one, I can't figure out now to open the battery/sd card compartment, nor do I see where to plug it in to charge. And the 4 page mini manual is useless.

I now own 3 GoPros... but I really want to start using this one!

OHHHHHHHHH..... I figured all these articles were published by Starbucks to get more free publicity (last count: they have raked in HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of dollars in free publicity through this).

And let's not generalize about "Christians" any more than we should about "Muslims" or any other group. This ONE guy (followed by some others) was upset. Dang: did we blame all Christians when Timothy McVey brought down a building in Oklahoma City? Let's stop...

Audio is a great way to start - video is even better. To see you, see you with them, see you holding, kissing, hugging them is the best. During ordinary days. Doesn't need to be fancy... just needs to BE...

Oren,

I'm one of the new guys on the block, having only recently been welcomed into the tightly-knit community of caring dads that you helped create. Here's what I wish for your kids and wife: that they enjoy you with all their energy over the months to come AND that you capture your life with them on video.

My Dad died just over two years ago and oh how I wish I had been on my crusade before he left. I think God created us with the ability to forget things so that the pain we feel won't be as strong tomorrow as it is today. But with that comes the loss of what a dad sounded like, how tightly he squeezed me when he hugged me, and how great his laugh was. Oh, sure: we have photos and we talk about him, but I have almost no video with him in it.

It's one of the reasons I started LessonsFromMyGrandson.com - so my grandson would always remember what I looked like, sounded like, and how much I love him. And that's my crusade - to get all of us INTO the videos with our kids so we all can remember they joys of life even if we aren't here to enjoy them any longer.

So find those little moments in life and record them with your family. Not the big moments, necessarily... the ordinary, little moments. They will cherish them forever and remember the joy you brought to them.

Here's one thing I've learned as the Dad of two daughters: she will always be Daddy's Little Girl. To her Mom, she'll be a friend. I imagine that sons will grow up to be buddies to dad (the closest I personally come to that is my 2.5 year old grandson). But a daughter will always be Daddy's Little Girl. And then... OMG... when she has kids and she blossoms into a terrific Mom - life is SO good!

The old adage still applies - never build your house on someone else's land. Let's face it - Facebook is free and they can do what they please! We just need to adjust to their rules (played with their ball and ball field.

If Upworthy wasn't signing people up for more info once we clicked on a headline in Facebook, shame on them. Sign us up and send us info and their traffic will continue. Clearly not at the same pace - most of us don't open emails as often as clicking on a link in Facebook - but still at healthy numbers.

So: the worst number in business is still ONE - only one way to get your word out is bound to kill your business (remember when we used to call people or fax them without their permission? GONE!).

What this proves is how busy these stations are... and that they get lazy at times... they take press releases and use them without changing them. REAL news isn't scripted this same way, though when a national agency releases it's info, much of it is used the same way: verbatum.

Thought this movie was a bomb. Totally wasted Wiig’s charm. And there was almost NO appeal from Stiller either.

Maybe he shouldn’t direct himself and let scenes drag on (and then go no where).

One of the worst I’ve seen in years and I was SO looking forward to it.

It’s a shame…
