My sister broke her arm 3 times (not always the same arm, mind you), my brother broke his arm/dislocated his shoulder twice, and I.. I think it was a dislocation too, once (was too young, but I remember that I didn't get a cast.)

Yes, I've been paying taxes every two weeks for the past couple of years, and will do for about 35-40 more. But just those 6 accidents would have ruined my parents. And that's not even counting other minor things from the 3 of us (stomach pain, ear pain, sinusitis (I have allergies to the common "cold and sinus" medication) and etc.). So I'll wait the 8 hours at the ER (already did, in a small town hospital) if needed. I'll never try to replace my own hip (what would have happened if you had pinned a nerve down there?), and I'll never break something and then think "Well... I'll save up the money and go in a couple of weeks", making it even worst.

But I don't know how the new healthcare system work in the US, so we shall see.

Go on google, and look for "399 usd to cad". You'll see that 399 US$ = 442.81 CAN$, and you'll see that US$ is worth more and more by the day.. That's why the price had to go up. Same as when English books were so much more expensive in Canada than in the USA.

I had a thought... Are they still doing the weekends link over at Pleated Jeans ??? If so, maybe that could be dropped and posted here instead.. I mean, I would see it either way, but it would make sense, if you need time on your weekend, leave your second job, not the first, especially if it's about the same.

I used to work for a marketing agency too... I was a simple administrative assistant, and yet I was sometimes working 50+ hours per week (Not all the time, but around 42-45 hours, never less than 42). Of course, every hour worked after 40 wasn't paid, I had to work nights and weekends when needed..

I quit, at the beginning of May, and I am way happier than before. This was eating me alive. The projects were cool, but the amount of work wasn't.

Edit: The company I used to work for, their website looks like FiddleFly's, a lot. It brings back bad memory :/

Edit 2: Sick or on vacations, I still had to be reachable. Once, I had a bad gastroenteritis (bad like in the hospital for dehydration..), they knew it, and I still receive several calls, txt messages and emails at 8 in the morning (I was sick until 5 am, and I wrote to them at 5 to let them know I was finally going to bed). I had to work, and I had to call English suppliers, even tho there was project manager who could speak English, as well as my boss (calls that would have take less time than harassing me while I was finally able to sleep.)
