Lovely article. What I feel sorry for - is that I am unable to attend one of this live performance of Ethan. I have been talking over his dad over a possibility of them to be recorded - or even streamed live - as I am sure many of the fans of Ethan`s music like me would enjoy such an experience.

I tend to agree with Zaphod that the first film - was perfect and the rest did not really manage to reach its class. However I am quite curious to see who is going to be picked for the role of Bastian - while Barret Oliver/Noah Hathaway have their star status - I am discovering new talented young actors almost everyday in the films I watch.

Mud is definitely an odd piece of cinema . I did not like it that much - despite its" surrealistic " atmosphere - or may be because of it. One of the things I noticed about it - is that it showed how everyone is pretty much preoccupied with his own things - like the girls that was in the store - she saw the foreigner hurt - but did not attempt to help him, then a man looks trough the door seeing the boy and the man " fighting " - but then he just keeps walking.

I would love to hear the director`s own opinion - and hopefully he will stumble on this blog and will let us know what were his ideas. It is not a precedent at my blog - so he is welcome to do it. And so are all of you who have seen this short movie

It would be nice if the subscribes leave you comments in the blog so you can get to know them. But even if they don`t do that - the fact that you have that many is a great thing by itself and in a way the only thing that matters is that they appreciate your music. You deserve all the attention you are getting and more ....much more. Keep your site as fresh and great as it has been lately and many more people will have a chance to discover your talent.

I think that the price of Gravity is too high - the developer could have released it for 2-3 Euro and gain from volume sales instead.Also the website of Gravity had the worst distributors- it would be way better if they could get that app on Hango

After reading your announcement I decided to finally get on Disqus as well. It has good reviews - even in the comments here. Leo over at Twit also speaks high of them. I had trouble importing the comments - but the support team at Disqus helped a lot.

I agree that Twibble is a bit slow - but at least its free. I have it on my cell along with Twittix and am so far OK with those. The advantage of Gravity over them is the ability to read the twits offline - but I am hoping that this could be implemented in some of the freeware alternatives .

I am glad that you liked the review. However I would warn you that I , the friend who saw the film with me and my mom - we all did not like the film and I can`t say I learned anything from it. Of course - if you give it a try - you might be able to get the idea ...good luck !

I am thinking that the" χ" get changed to " x" - by default even in wordpress. You know how Gravatar works for example - displaying a custom avatar that is linked to an e-mail address in various blog - the main idea behind Disqus is not much different - however you need to keep in mind that the comments profile would be available only on comments left on Disqus enable sites . At the same time if there is a site that has Disqus - but you would rather keep your comments in there separate - you just post them as unregistered user . Don`t know if I am able to explain that good - as I myself am not 100 % sure of the answer.

I would guess that the answer to your question is yes - you have to be logged into Disqus in order to have your comments organized into your profile. At the same time unregistered user can also get something like a Disqus profile which would allow them to " claim " the comments they have made. Unlike Gravatar that does recognition associated with just an e-mail Disqus would require require you to log in in order to preserve comments - at the same time the Gravatar service is integrated into Disqus meaning that your avatar would still show provided that you use the email associated with it.

Nothing to sorry about - questions are a great way to start a discussion and often the only way to find the answers we are looking for .

Generally books tells stories better than movies - and yet if a movie is good in itself , its only an extra value if the book on which it is based is good as well. In the case of Skellig - I have never heard of the book before watching the film - but now after seeing the brilliant performance of the actors ( especially Bill Milner ) I am determined to read the book as well. I would also give a bit higher rating on the film than the one you gave for its excellent visuals and camerawork . I think that the movie reached its main goal in teaching the kids and adults who see it that they have to believe in themselves and others and that humans are an extraordinary creatures .

I loved " The Mists " . Especially its ending . However I agree with you that the characters were not well developed - but may be the directors wanted to illustrate the effect of an extraordinary events on group of people - the society - which was done in the magazine scenes when the 2 different groups formed . The movie grabbed me and I watched it breathless since its very end - and then I am a fan of Stephen King as an author and may be that contributed to my liking of the film. Nathan Gamble - a promising your actor otherwise did not really had a chance to shine in " The Mist " - but I think most of the actors were quite believable .

A favorite film of Mine ...Son of Rambow is a entertaining film for all ages . As you mentioned in your review the film fits quite well in the coming of age genre . I really liked your description of how child actors perform as for them being in a film is like a game and being young its easier for them to get into role . That is why by my opinion there are so many good films in which the lead roles are performed by young actors . Bill Milner gained quite popularity from Son of Rambow and if you have seen his latesr performance in Skellig - you will notice what a talented and now more experienced actor is becoming of him .
