I don't think it is only a case of people 'wanting' a party that will stand up for Ireland and it's wonderful people - the people of Ireland, regardless of race, kreed or colour, young or old, NEED someone to stand up for them. I am hoping that Sinn Fein will BE that party!

Ireland as a country needs a voice that will be heard. The children of Ireland need a voice that will put their educational needs first, instead of constant cutbacks. The sick people of Ireland need a voice that will get something done about the waiting lists, the closed wards, the cutbacks to an already floundering health system. The people who have found themselves unemployed need a voice to help them get back on their feet, and provide for their families.

Tough times are upon us all - I hope that something positive happens on Friday to aid Ireland in moving forward and progressing through the tough times into a brighter and better future for one and all.

Anger is a negative commodity, however every person has the ability to turn that anger to something more positive and the words I have read above have swayed me from voting Independant to Sinn Fein.

Good luck with the elections on Friday to all candidates, including our own, Gerry Murray.

Re: People need to turn anger into action | Sinn Féin

""“People need to turn their anger into action. If people want a party that will stand up for Ireland, that will stand up for ordinary people and ordinary communities, then they should vote for Sinn Féin in the local government, the European and the by elections.""

The above comments from Gerry Adams will strike a chord with many people around the country upon reading .
