Yes Alexandra... it becomes a Huge waste of time and you hurt yourself Most!! Yes you get so distant from your first occupation that even when it's right in front of you staring at you, you refuse to see it... You just stand there looking dumbfounded looking down at it without being able to move, to do, to say... nothing, it becomes DEAD!!
How horrible that must be!

Very nice story Mr. Coelho.
It is indeed very necessary to put in the large stones first... but not always easy. When trapped in the hustle and bustle of life, the big stones get buried under the gravel and the sand and we often don't see their presence. Eventually, through a turn of events, different for everyone, the big stones surface and then we can pick them up and put them in the jar.

Carl Sagan puts it very well. My argument exactly... although our minds cannot grasp and comprehend the vastness of the universe and the cosmos... Anything is possible... will we ever know, do we know? maybe some do... So it goes as Irina said, it could be a manifestation of our own energies... the possibilities are endless!!

Absolutely Paul and Annie, I am living proof of this... I have gone against some major currents walls and obstacles in my life to be where I am. Some real major barriers. Not taking no for an answer?? nope, not if I want something, imagine, I a little mouse, had to go against Everyone's 'no's' in my life for following my dreams. Just like Mr. Coelho. We have a lot in common, Mr. Coelho and I!!
