There is NO point in Developers applying for planning permission for over a million homes if you consider thanks to 'Lock Down Destruction' of the 'Global Economy' in UK alone about 4 to 5 Million are expected to loose their Jobs, and Homes: thus there should be a HUGE Crash in the housing Market Once UK GOV stop paying people 80 per cent of wages to stay home, to avoid Flu considering Matt Hancock's guidelines as were, “ Isolate for just 14 Days” and magically this alleged Deadly Bio Weapon just disappears” Might that be Matt Hancock's guidelines as to New Cure for Cancer also I wonder? :) :)

National flood avoidance can be done more economically than at present.

Some of the key reasons of flooding is 'Silted Up River Beds' where weed beds have been allowed to grow so that they trap debris flowing down stream. It once was common practice to to cut these bed beds but due bad management and lack of investment such has resulted in Major Flooding in the UK.

Why not use those prisoners to do the clearance work instead of them working out in a Gym or sitting around watching SKY Sports at taxpayers expense? The would get plenty of good healthy exercise without wearing out Gym Equipment plus fresh air?

UK GOV should give encourage Retirees to retire to countries such as Spain etc as did Angela Merkel so as homes are released for the young workers the German Government went so far as to purchase large scale developments at bargain prices and include these properties in their Workers Pension Scheme. Note also giving them enhanced Health Insurance and medical supplies again at reduced rates. If UK GOV were to encourage more elderly to live overseas as did Angela Merkel we wouldn't have the problems we see today.
