Are you aware we put reflectors on the moon and we can shoot a laser at it and can detect the beam coming back?

Re: Nuclear power plants could power colonies on the Moon and Mars

You do realize in 1969 it was almost all mechanical? This is for adding permanent bases not just staying for a few days. Also if you have worked with anything nuclear you would understand all the regulations and safety precautions around that where you could expect a brand new project that is going to the moon and all the requirements around that taking 6 years.

Re: Elon Musk’s Boring Company Loop is expanding again in Las Vegas with another customer

In previous articles it's been mentioned that at least initially these will only be used during conventions and all will have drivers. We're skyrocketing!! I'm not going to make any claims about water shortage I think we can probably get around that one but to deny the incredible speed of the world population growth is just ridiculous. Are all these countries lying about their population in a global scam?

World population was 6.12b in 2000, 6.51b in 2005, and 6.81b in 2010. It's estimated to climb to 7.32b in 2015 and 7.71b in 2020.

http://esa.un.org/wpp/unpp/...

And really if you're only worried about your own life then you're right probably not going to die because of any of this. But if you care about future generations at all then it will be an issue.

Re: Meet Dee Williams: She Lives in 84 Square Feet

You do know that your ignorance is blatantly obvious don't you?

Re: The Aliens Are Coming! But a movie theatre I would think would be insanely hard to be efficient. They just seem like they would be a huge power consumer to me.

I'm only bringing this up because I noticed today that they had a banner that said they were going to be LEED certified.

Re: Rob Hatch: Bike Commuting in Chattanooga

I've been meaning to try riding the bus to work and biking home.
