Yep I did it on Rogers with an AT&T 2.5G phone and no problems. The update/backup took forever but it worked and still works without having to re pwn it.

I updated my 2.0 unlocked and activated on Rogers(original AT&T phone) and with 2.0.1 the phone just worked as before. No problems at all. I don't think there's any problem with upgrading using iTunes if you don't care about Cydia.

Well you don't realize that some people just want SIM unlock and pwning with 2.0 and upgrading to 2.0.1 works FINE and SIM unlock and activation remains.

Thanks for the update. I have to say a lot of criticism could have been avoided if this info was posted earlier but I appreciate the updates and very much look forward to having 2.0 working on my phone.
