So is this like the verizon modem card thingy that you'd plug into a usb port and have wifi ISP? In this case it means your iphone would be somewhere around your laptop, sharing wireless, plugin-less connection? I wonder how they'd bill for that. You know, my iPhone wreaks havoc with my laptop and phone. I find I have to move it away from the other equipment on my desk.

I thought the price was going to be much higher than $200!!! In fact that played into my decision. Altho ultimately I decided based on my experiences with my iTouch, and seeing Miles in action with his iPhone, that it was the phone for me.

OK so I have to agree even tho it wasn't too long ago that I posted a similar concern. I felt like I was being an iPod glutton. At one time I think, between Miles & I, there were five iPods in the house!!! Well, actually there are still 5 iPods in the house but I did get rid of one (gifted one of the iTouchs to someone really special)!!! But I am nothing but absolutely happy with my iPhone altho I must admit my bill did go up. But that was because, with Verizon, i was doing the bare minimum!! At least now I'm doing everything all in one place. I must say without condition that my iPhone wins my gadget of the year award!!!

I had my doubts when I read thru your 5 best iPhone games. (I have none of them) But I would agree, if I could SIM on the iPhone, I would! In a heart beat. BTW, my favorite iPhone apps so far are: Word Wrap, Sudoku, and Cro-Mag. Two others i have which are ok when I'm in the mood for them are: Everest and Tap Tap NIN. For moods I love Koi Pond, iMoods, and Lightsaber (when I'm feeling sparky). Most used apps (added, not native) are Twitterific, TheTumblr, CellSpin, AroundMe, End Times and Dictionaire. I really like Cooliris and Google Earth but find them both to be kinda flakey. I thought I'd use Pandora more but i surf away from it too easily. Last but not least, my vote for most creatively inspiring app is: sniff_jazzbox. And there you have it.

oh, P.S. The way you'd play SimCity was the way I played The Sims. I found when building Cities I was more compulsive to make progress than I was just watching the Sims especially when they almost assuredly disintegrated into madness.

Based on my experience at IBM, I'd say neither one would be in with our CEO - it would be a Sr Executive so far removed from the process that what the Sr Exec knows is many times removed from the source. I loved the quote you used - I have been there; the color, the pixel width, the pretty url structure... it is what leaves you at the end of the day wondering what the heck you truly accomplished. Very inspiring to see Bowman move on because everyone talks about Google jobs as the end all be all job to have these days so it would be so easy to just... settle.
