I live in Ireland and we are focussing on tech - not sure we are winning in any shape tbh

Education is paramount and as Marc Prensky and his native immigrant argument stated the explorative young minds that are not subjected to the fear of the internet has plus points and negative too.

I don't write code - I can understand the concept of code but with so many languages developing?

OS....which side to back. As a Google Bunny incarnate I follow Android and am loving KitKat ( waiting for the M version - MARS - helps you work rest and play is too much to ignore? )

Re: CoTweet, A New Promising Web Based Twitter Client

So many apps giving options.

I want mulitple IDs( niche followers*blush*)
I want deep analytics ( have to see if it works?)
Feeds
keywords in columns would suit..

Re: Redesign Revolt: What Should Facebook Do Next?

Few like unasked for and un introduced change. I know many of my FB messages have been negative. I am not sure why the knee jerk reaction to Twitter refusal prompted the advent of real time. Totally different user groups.

Its time we accepted niche and speciality. I don't want a random exponential number ( insert preferred thousand lol) followers on Twitter - no one would hear me and listen. (I am worth more than white noise ;)

Re: Your Honor, I Tweeted

shoulda logged in oops

Re: Brand & Community Baloney

How better than to dip into different areas and interests... lol

But I return to focus.

And content....

With the odd foray into salukis....8)

Re: Brand & Community Baloney

Jim,
Its human nature. You place 200 real people in a room it will be stilted and awkward. Put two hundred moms together, put two hundred baseball fans together, put two hundred fly fishermen ( ok ok maybe not lol) you get the idea? In real life our instinct is to focus on subjects in common. Small niche networks will foster loyalty - vast halls will echo.

Oh and it is about putting something in to receive back too....

Re: Brand & Community Baloney

We need to reassess and yes refocus. Spread yourself too thinly and no you won't reap the benefits of a community. Which is precisely why I see the future for social media in niche areas. No longer the ego centric Facebooks and Myspaces but the subject centricity that gives us something to hang onto and group around.
