Would be nice to also throw Cloudflare Access out front to allow only my logins but I am not sure how that would work with the mobile app and other integrations that call api's.

Yeah pretty sure people would just have 1 service at a time if they could not share credentials. Sign up for 1 binge the latest stuff then cancel and sign up for the next. Instead a lot of people share subscriptions that never get canceled. I'm guessing it balances out a bit better than they would normally.

Do they not realize that people sharing accounts are still paying? The other options are everyone signs up for accounts which isn't likely they just cost the same as cable did that everyone is ditching, OR a group of people pool their money and sign up to a bunch of services and share the credentials. If the account comes with 4 streams at the same time they should let people use those 4 streams.

The other issue they will run into is say I take my chrome cast or fire stick on a business trip and my wife watches something at home while I watch from the hotel... Will they block one of us?

Getting a physical card seems to be against the whole idea of e-sim. Why not just pop something up on the phone will all local offerings and let me pick one? If I already have an account with a provider why not offer me some digital way of adding the e-sim, worst case I log onto my account on a separate device and scan a qr code off the screen...... It's like people who don't understand technology keep trying to create it....

It's too bad they have done things like block casting to a TV when you are not on Bell Wifi (think going to a friends to watch something or watch at work during your lunch hour..) a well as blocking ABC/NBC and likely other channels from being watched remotely on the device.

Been with Videotron for a while now in Ottawa and it is great. 4x$35/month 6GB and Unlimited calls/text and a $0 no data unlimited everything else. Can't beat the price my family is so happy to be saving. Finally got most of them to have data now which just makes smart phones much smarter..

Got the Ontario Alert in Ottawa using Videotron at about 1:55.15. Co-worker same carrier did not get the alert. The sound was the same as on the tv. If your ringer was turned off the phone just vibrated instead. I was able to flip between sound and no sound by flipping the ringer switch.

wink hub I got for $20
echo dot $50

But if I had an ecobee thermostat the temperature sensors are about $45 each I think... It starts to sound like a better value...

Worked on iPhone X and iPhone 8, sadly my parents who need this the most have iPhone 5s's..... It's too bad because when I was on Rogers the wifi calling worked on the 5s.
