I have to say, as a real makeup artist, unfortunately this happens all the time at makeup counters. Yes, you may find a gem behind the makeup counter, but the bottom line is they are sales people with minimal training. Of course there are times you can get a senior artist, but that is not always the case. You should check out professional makeup artists who do not rep a certain line, and if you build an ongoing relationship with them, the costs aren't as outrageous as you think. Or a better investment would be to pay an artist you like for one on one lessons so you can learn to do it yourself!

I think the most important thing is to be clear with them when you sit down at the counter and be sure to speak up. But you remember you are getting what you pay for!!

I LOVE IT! It will take a few treatments, say if you are trying to help with skin texture or fine lines. Be sure to get a facial with it, with this towards the end. Even better if they follow it up with an oxygen treatment which penetrates the products deeper into your skin. But don't just go anywhere, really research the person/spa giving you this treatment and make sure they know their stuff!!

If you like salt on your margarita, it makes a great exfoliant for your heals and rough spots on you feet. You can mix with a little oil, or add showergel and slat and rub into feet.

Is it 5 oclock yet??

I have extremely long thick curly Italian hair that’s chemically treated and I love this product. However, my hair is a little weird in the fact that it gets "immune" to products very quickly and so I am only able to use both once a month (The oil and the mask). The smell is not as tropical/exotic as I would like it to be but overall I agree. Oil tip: Be sure to remember that a little goes a long way, start and your ends and work your way up to the root, if you start the other way around it will for sure give you some limp locks!

Really people?!? Come on now. It HER blog. She can buy, use, be given, make money, make nothing, or become a billionaire. It's HER blog. If you don't like, don't read it. It's NONE of your business. She doesn't charge you to be a member so she doesn't have to disclose anything.

And if you are just now finding out about product placement, or product suggestion used by everyone in the world right now and FOR Years in Magazines, movies, tv shows, blogs, sporting events,etc, and has for years, then you deserve to have your computer taken away. No one makes you buy anything so If she recomends something or mentions something then use your brain and decide if its right for you. Simple as that. Duh.

Keep blogging Mary!! Don't stop anything unless you see fit. I Love your blog and I am greatful to you for it!!!!
