I am in Ottawa and watch TVO OTA -- TVO had the best interesting programming, most of which came from the BBC I think.

The chances of me subscribing to cable again just to watch TVO are slim to none, and Slim left town... Maybe Steve Paikin could donate one year salary and it could keep the transmitters on.

I don't understand how I'm supposed to use this. I use noscript and clicking the purple boxes does nothing.

BroadbandBill's comment that Mike Z is the worst tech CEO since John Scully is right on the money. Mike Z did well in GE and Motorola when the economy was (mostly) booming. It's very hard not to be successful in an environment like that - "a rising tide lifts all boats".

Through an abundance of hubris and over-confidence, and plain incompetence, Mike Z took a company with products and technology and decimated it. Farewell Nortel.
