You mentioned non-believers. In addition to gays, BSA discriminates against atheists and agnostics as well. There's really no good reason to support them given how bigoted they are.

Sadly many people who've had good and easy lives tend to think it's because they're hard working and good. They presume people like those you encountered in the shelter are there because they're lazy and bad.

Some things in the Bible (whatever things Christians decide) only applied at the time the Bible was written. Or they only applied to the Jews. But that stuff about gay people still applies because the Bible is God's Eternal and Unchanging Word.

I agree. I also think pregnant women should be hidden from view. After all, pregnancy comes from sex, and naturally when anybody sees a pregnant woman they're going to think about sex. We all should be protected from such vulgarity. In fact, it might be best to keep infants and children out of view as well, since they're the products of sex. Better safe than sorry....

So-called "pro-life" people don't actually care about the health and welfare of the children they're constantly preaching about. They only care about controlling women and their reproductive organs. That's why "pro-life" people seek to ban abortion and birth control but in no way support prenatal care, aid to poor/hungry children, health care or anything else that would actually help people live and thrive.
