All the money he's ever made has been from selling political favors, just like the Clintons. You Demwits, despite all the talk about jobs and income inequality, are just defenders of kleptocracy. Especially given the over criminalization of everything, in a world where Martha Stewart can be sent to prison for getting a tip on a hot stock.

Taibbi routinely evades how the economy is manipulated by government and its central banks which plan interest rates and produce money and credit, thereby stealing purchasing power from savers and rewarding bond traders who sell government paper. And how the disruptions of this central control causes business cycles. Of course, this endless credit card is how establishment politicians, including "progressive" Democrats, fund both vote buying and their own perks and lifestyles, and subsidies to their cronies, without causing revolution instantly by raising taxes honestly.

Re: Journalist David Neiwert: American Left Not Ready For RW Terror

A lawyer went duck hunting for the first time in Texas. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of the fence.

As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing.

The litigator responded, "I shot a duck, it fell into this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."

The old farmer replied, "This is my property and you are not coming over here."

The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. and if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things in Texas. We settle small disagreements like this with the Texas Three-Kick Rule."

The lawyer asked, "What is the Texas Three-Kick Rule?"

The Farmer replied, "Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back an d forth, until someone gives up."

The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees.

His second kick nearly wiped the man's nose off his face. The barrister was flat on his belly when the farmer's third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to give up.

The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old coot! Now, it's my turn!"

The old farmer smiled and said, "No, I give up. You can have the duck."

Re: Dems Spending Big to Hold on to Share of Gay Vote

To pick up chicks

Re: Dems Spending Big to Hold on to Share of Gay Vote

They do and it works when they spend that much money

Re: Dems Spending Big to Hold on to Share of Gay Vote

Well I'm gay and I've never had an STD. The DC policy class doesn't care about its victims who graduate, or don't graduate, skill-less from its failed schools, and then are not productive enough to justify being paid $7 much less $15 until they've been trained on the job in things like how to add and subtract. The political class is happy to see their lives stolen and anyone not a lawyer, lobbyist or bureaucrat left on welfare in government housing for their entire lives.

Re: Flint’s Water a Recurring, Democrat Problem

https://reason.com/blog/201...

Re: Flint’s Water a Recurring, Democrat Problem

https://reason.com/blog/201...

Re: Flint’s Water a Recurring, Democrat Problem

Democratic rule does depend on low IQ, unemployed, needy people they claim they will help and manage .

Re: Flint’s Water a Recurring, Democrat Problem

So why did the regional EPA director resign?
