This error though is crucial The fight will not really be won unless it is fought as a spiritual battle. The other battles, the battle for free speech, the battle for women's rights and children's rights not to be sex slaves and victims, are only important subsets of the crucial spiritual battle. Christians must fight the spiritual battle and all the other battles too. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God is YHWH,not a moon god named allah.

The code maybe written so that it would automatically apply to religious meetings without ever explicitly identifying them. Your conclusions are too simple minded. A broad general prohibition on meetings or restrictions on non-family gatherings in a private home would be all that is needed to exclude religious meetings. Overly broad laws are often found unconstitutional because they can be interpreted to take away constitutional rights. In this case the code takes away the right to freedom of assembly, the right to freedom of expression and the right to free exercise of religion. Kindly reflect before making accusations. Thanks.

Do not be a yes man. Try to think about the Contstitution and what it guarantees. Dont you understand that there are laws passed which violate the Constitution? Such laws need to be struck down. This is one of those. It has been explained to you that the First amendment freedom of expression and free exercise clauses as well as the right to assembly all require that this man be left alone to conduct his Bible study in peace. Your answer is peculiarly unAmerican. You feel that any law passed must be obeyed. No. Wrong laws are to be challenged by those who understand what is at stake. You must think.Christians are not excused from thinking. The child was shot in the back by a man who had profiled Black people before who dared to walk "in his neighborhood." The child was heard crying out for help. The perpetrator refused the advice of the 911 operator to desist from following the child. The police found the dead child and despite the testimony of eyewitnesses they did not make an arrest. A dead child, no arrest, everyone in charge is white. Think. Pray . But for God's sake do not lie to yourself and others about this racially motivated crime and attempted coverup. Hayford's remarks are a disgrace to him. Grief and soul searching are appropriate. It was a racial issue. The boy was killed because he was Black. The police let the perpetrator go because He was white. The child was killed in cold blood by a man who would not stop following him. This man had made many such calls to the police before. All of the people who had made him "uncomfortable" were Black.

We who worship Jesus must do so in Spirit and in truth. The truth is the child was killed for being Black. Now deal with it. We do not need Martin Luther King. King leaned on Jesus. We have Jesus.

First we confess our sins; we deal justice and offer mercy. We do no get angry with those who have been robbed of their son because they have made us look at something unpleasant. People are justly and rightly angry. Saying, no, no, don't be angry is absurd. God is angry. He restrains His anger and wants us to do what is right. He is angry at the wicked every day. If they do not repent, their foot shall slip in due time. That is the word. Hard to see Hayford's point. He seems annoyed that everyone isn't singing Kumbaya.

No. Crystal sounds like one of the legions of persons who hope to lure the ignorant into a life of prostitution by pretending that you can go in and out of sex for hire and be none the worse. Saying something is complicated does not excuse the deception. Her remarks about the Center for Disease Control making a study of Nevada brothels is extremely, unlikely. Let her produce the study. CDC's mandate is to track diseases that are threats to the population, not to monitor brothels. Annie Lobert and Hookers for Jesus are compassionate and acknowledged experts in this hideous dehumanizing racket. They expose it from experiential knowledge and this is a threat to Crystal and perhaps to you.
I notice that neither you nor Crystal address the explosion of sex trrafficking of children and adults which always accompanies legalizing prostitution. Nor do you address the explosion in drug addiction, alcoholism, violent crime and suicide that inevitably follow. We have the same results all over the world. The real beneficiaries are organized crime.
For the Christian the destruction of the soul, the violation of the commandments of Jesus are of first importance. God will defend the weak.

You fail to mention that the women who are in prostitution are drug addicts and alcoholics to stomach the life that they are forced to live. These women are not free to leave at will. If they try it they soon find out the real score. If anyone wants to know the real truth of prostitution in Nevada, let them contact Hookers for Jesus, a group of women ex prostitutes who risk their lives to rescue women from prostitution. By the way the average age of sex exploitation in Nevada is actually ten. Wherever prostitution has been legalized child exploitation and sextrafficking explodes.

If the Chancellor was embarrassed, he more than had it coming. He has permitted the Muslim Student Union to intimidate Jewish students on campus and to heckle any speaker who comes to speak in favor of Israel or even vaguely critically of Islam. Attendants of lectures who indicate any sympathy toward Jews or Israel are often followed to their cars and harrassed by students refusing to get off of the car so that it can move. They surround the cars and tightly surround their intimidation victims. A friend of mine, a South African Jew, received open mocking from the university police when she complained of being surrounded and heckled by UCI Muslim Union students. When campus police are called, they invariably support the Muslim students. The chancellor has refused to hold the Muslim students accountable in any way. I am glad that the university police were bypassed so that order could be restored. The fact that the speaker was so discouraged as to not take questions at a law school event is remarkable. I do not believe that the chancellor has the courage to change the situation. He is clearly cowed.. UCI is one of the most, if not the most hate- filled organizations of Muslim students in the US.

Solkhar, you must take a deep breath because you are talking nonsense. You say that condemning Islam automatically condemns Christianity. Then you move on without establishing the fatal nexus that makes every criticism of Islam applicable to Christianity. This is foolish. Your assertions are foolish. Solkhar, look at the doctrine.

Islam requires submission at the point of the sword. It preaches loathing of Christian and Jew and all others who refuse it. The Koran teaches to kill the infidel and kill the apostate. There is no disputing this. The Koran teaches that the only sure way to heaven is to kill others for the sake of Islam. Someone who dies in this pursuit will go to Paradise. Otherwise, the poor Muslim is doomed to live his life in uncertainty. His good deeds must outweigh the bad deeds or he will go to hell. But, how much does a good deed weigh? Are they as weighty as the bad deeds? Does the rate of exchange make it imposible to earn salvation by good deeds? Suppose you slip at the last moment? No. The only sure escape for the Muslim is a path of death and destruction. (Mohammad himself did not know if he were saved. I find this amazing that some one who led a life of unbroken, unrepentant savagery would have any doubt as to his ultimate destination. No doubt, he anticipated the vengeance of heaven.)
For some fantastic and unexplained reason, Solkhar, you associate these doctrines of Islam with Christianity. You equate the doctrines of turning the other cheek, the necessity of forgiveness and love of your neighbor with Islam's bloody tenets. Christianity actually celebrates the triumph of mercy over judgment. Perhaps you should read the New Testament before making these fantastic attempts to equate these vastly different doctrines.

Islam worships death. It leaves death and destruction as the only way to escape eternal hell. The true believer of Islam actually needs unbelievers or else they would have no certain way to get to Heaven. If there were no infidel to butcher, how could one be rewarded for killing them and get 72 virgins despite his sins?What an absurd result! (BTW what do the women get?)

Note that we did not speak of the fruit of Islam as a way to judge its moral health. The fruit of Islam is ignorance, insanity and widespread death. Consistent results for 1400 years. I am with Stompykitty on this. Islam is inherently evil.

This establishes that only the statements of unbelievers can be considered lies. It gives moral purity to the lying Muslim. After all, he is not an infidel.

The author points out that the word translated as "scheme" is from the Arabic, "makar", which literally means deceit. So Allah deceives unbelievers and is evidently the best liar. Therefore, the floodgates are open.

IT really doesnt matter that you disregard the hadiths, the majority of the Muslim world does not. Lying is part and parcel of the attack against the infidel. It is very clear also in the Koran that Allah is called the best deceiver of them all. Taqiyya was not a merely defensive practice and is not now. It is counseled to deceive the infidel and is used widely. Does it seem likely that Obama released those Gitmo prisoners deliberately so that they could return to jihad and help establish terror base in Yemen which was already chosen by Al Qaeda to be a new stronghold of operations? Does it occur to anyone that Obama put the Dept of Justice on the job of pursuing the CIA in order to create fatal distractions to prevent them from detecting the double agents in their midst? The outrageous and determined step of Obama's junta in giving the rights of Americans to those who want to destroy us, shields and protects those enemies who should be interrogated and given over to military justice. They become untouchable, They are guaranteed a defense under our standards. All of the dignity of the American legal system is perverted this way. The glory of our system has been to give the individual the ability to hold the whole governmental apparatus at bay and in check by an assertion of our guaranteed rights. We require our government to vigorously prove its case and keep to all the important formalities or the defendant walks free. That system was for Americans who are presumed innocent, not for defiant, self-confessed enemies of the United States.

I drive to one conclusion. The President declared we are not at war with Islam when any fool knows that we are. The public is deliberately confused. I believe that the lack of confidence in Obama was an anticipated and calculated risk.I believe that Obama wants there to be a lack of confidence in the American system. I believe his purpose is to create doubt, and weaken whatever can be weakened while he remains in office, while creating an economy that causes the desperate to cry out for socialism, believing this to be their only option for survival.The possibilities for damage are considerable. Can we afford to wait to vote him out of office? Is there no investigation that can proceed against him that will have the effect of at least making him look over his shoulder before costing other Americans their lives? Who can gather this information? Who would have the nerve to reveal it? Can he be checkmated into backing off or leaving office? If not, what then? How much more will we have to endure before our legislators challenge him openly as a traitor in the White House?

Speaking of Heaven, I would be happy to share the scriptures with you that assure Israel of an everlasting presence on the earth. The day she returns to her own land (1948) she is never to be uprooted again. Yes, it is not going to be a party and those same scriptures predict great testing and unprecedented suffering.. They also assure Israel of final victory. As an interesting side note, those nations which lift their hands against Israel are assured of complete destruction. Is Israel different than all the other nations? Yes. The Lord said that in the Jews all the nations of the earth would be blessed. As a Christian I know this to be true because Jesus is of the house and lineage of David, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the King of the Jews and my Savior.Salvation is from the Jews. YHWH is the God of the Jews and of all the earth.

I think that you might enjoy reading a short play that was very popular here and in Great Britain. It is called "A Man for All Seasons" by Robert Bolt. In it the protagonist is asked,' would you give even the devil the benefit of the law?' The discussion is interesting. The protagonist is Sir Thomas More, who was beheaded for his refusal to acquiesce to the second marriage of Henry VIII to Anne Boleyn.
