I think by " digital slavea" he must mean - " has a preference for" . I am an iPhone user , and I prefer to be. I am not enslaved to the brand. When I get my new phone , I will CHOOSE an iPhone and I will NOT CHOOSE an Android, because I simply want one.

... the iCloud backup statement is dumb. As is the " outdated hardware " claim. Apple has a very long history of bringing tech to the market that then gets adopted as industry standard after ( ie. Ethernet, Firewaire , SSD , full flat touch screen device " on and on. Newer technology may not make sense at that time for performance issues, compatibility, battery use, whatever. - Why would I want to carry around a seriously underperforming device just because out was invented last week.

wow.. how very cishetero white of you. How about actually respecting the question and using the moment to educate someone , rather than " tlalking inappropriately" about someone and instead of "being dismissive" of someone? ( wow , where did we hear those words before. )

Refering to someone as CISHETERO ( while not a very PC term) means that the person they are referring to is a heterosexual white male, that self identifies as male in gender. . they are making the implication that he's a " typical male" , therefore entitled and empowered by nature. A statement that is blatant reverse sexism.

totally agree on all of the above, except for the refrigerator. -- I usually travel for sales and have to take clients to dinner . Usually a pretty fantastic meal. -- however, playing host and doing most of the talking, I never get to eat very much. With the fridge in there, I can take a doggie bag back to the room and feast , while answering emails till midnight.

i don't understand the point of throwing in the " controversial restaurant" statement. - Yes, Bruce has had a somewhat "interesting" recent past... but the headline seems to imply that this place is " trouble" - look at Bruce, at it again, this time his mismanagement has taken the life of a passerby ... " huh" ? -- I know from running a restaurant, the valet is just probably the most out of his control , or responsibility.

I can see logic. Doesn't mean that I have to AGREE with the logic. Houston deserved a shuttle - after all this city has done for the shuttle program. Not to mention it would have made a fantastic tourist draw.

Annise Parker and city officials should not have been so passive in this decision.
