The giraffe, according to DM autopsy carried out on national geographic, does not have valves in its arteries. The one way valves required to prevent the rush would be obstructive to normal blood flow. Apparently it has more to do with the tight faccia sheath through which all the neck structures run rather than valves. This allows normal upwards flow in the upright position but causes instant decreased flow when the head is down because of overall increased pressure in the neck.

I'm African born, yet I share your addiction. Many of my family have left these shores for safer and more prosperous surrounds, but I am stuck here. Despite Africa's many flaws, my addiction keeps me here. Maybe I'm waiting to see what Africa has in store around the next corner. Whatever the reason, I fully understand what you mean.

toni, it is simply a different language. he wasn't an internist and therefore in south african english, he wasn't a physician. he was a doctor and therefore in american english, he was a physician.

i also want to believe there will be peace in the world and that poverty will be eradicated and when i get an email from a nigerian lawyer claiming that i am about to inherit thousands from a long lost uncle that i am indeed about to inherit thousands. but somehow to charge in without proof seems to me to be a bit stupid. to send your children forward smacks of world war one generals. i do not get it.
