I kind of assumed this was meant for the Dark Eldar.

Going off that assumption I'd really like to see an entire army that will always hit. Wounding and AP aside I would love to see the Dark Eldar be an extremely elite glass cannon army. Every shot fired is a guaranteed hit, BS 5 and above. Give the infantry high volume weapons with low AP, and cost prohibitive anti tank.

Thats all I really have. I'd like to see a breath of fresh air blown into this game but I don't even know where to start. But why innovate when you can put more 3+ saves on the table?

Re: 40K Pic of the Day 11-9-09

What is going on with the windows in the upper right hand corner?

Re: 40K/WFB DEEP THOUGHT: Balance vs Spectacle

Stop codex creep. The eradicator with 9 HB and 4 Heavy Stubber shots will probably become a staple of all guard players in the near futureI think that the Executioner is a nice set of new rules that will probably net the same amount of wounds, probably no plasna sponsons.

Either way, Score one for the treadheads.

Re: Goatboy's 40k Thoughts: Metagame?

Let me ask you. What are you going to bring to a tournament in June when you'll be sure to see a mechanized guard list with at least 12 tanks and on the other hand you'll see 200 orks.

How do you deal with that.

Re: 40k SNEAK PEEK: IG Command Squads & More

I love how big the green stuff versions are. I feel like people are over-reacting or misunderstanding the way the lumbering rule is written in this wishlist. I feel like it is very possible that you get to fire all weapons but the ordnance rule will still over-ride it. Every single one of the new LRs are HEAVY and not ORDNANCE, therefore you'll be able to move and fire all weapons on an eradicatior but on a leman russ you'll have to choose between bolters or battle cannon.

I think that every single army should be very afraid. How are you going to make a list for a tournament that can handle both 200 orks and 12 Guard tanks in the same tournament?

I'm glad I will not be on the receiving end of my armored company.

Re: 40K RUMORS: Imperial Guard Vehicle Details

I think that Leman Russes will never be scoring but you will be able to put together fully mechanized lists. And for cheap. I'm talking like 7 chimeras filled with armored fist or veteran equivalents plus the command squad, 3 russ variants, and two artillery variants at 1750 points. The day of the Armored Company are here and I predict it will be a very competitive list.

Re: 40K RUMORS: Imperial Guard Vehicle Details

The Eradicator looks like the Conqueror except with a large blast template and S6 instead of 7. If the 'Lumbering' style rule is true then there are going to be some serious heroes of the variants, specifically the Eradicator and Exterminator.

Re: 40k RUMORS: IG Latest Details

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Re: NEWS: British Pound Sterling in Freefall

Ouch!
