Totally agreed. He uses his body well, but he doesn't look very big. I would take McGary all day over Williams. They seem to have similar flaws, but McGary is bigger and more athletic.

I understand this is only a sample from 1 game of theirs each, but I see what I see.

Which players has he misread? Tijan? Coach knew what he was getting with Tijan. Bawa? Perhaps Bawa will never amount to anything on the court but I think the jury is still out. Other than those two, who do you think he has whiffed on?

That is good to know. I did hear a long time ago that he speaks 5+ languages. I wonder how much truth there is to that. Regardless, I don't think intelligence is the problem.

Strangely enough, that will be a good thing for PU. He would have been riding the pine his whole career anyway. Now they can use the scholly on someone who will actually get on the court.

Good piece. DFerg is very mysterious. I have never seen him play so I can not attest to his ability, but there seem to be more questions than answers.

He's tight with Tracy Webster, formerly at UK. I can only assume Webster had a big part in recruiting him to UK. It will be interesting if Depaul starts dominating recruiting in Chicago.
