Keep doing what you are doing! I love following you on FB. Your updates are like mine, about family, daily life, the good and the bad. You are real. I love that. I recently introduced my 7 yr old daughter to Full House. She loves it and thinks it is so awesome when I show her pictures of you and your family on FB and explain you are DJ. I love her seeing you as a woman of God who loves the Lord and raising a family that seeks God. Thank you!

Thanks girl.... because I was JUST NOW to the point of tears feeling overwhelmed!! This skin cancer thing is getting the best of me - waiting for surgery to finally arrive on July 3rd and finding out it will be more invasive to remove and repair, etc.... and other obligations that are pulling me in more directions than I want... anyway - there is always something, right? But I just took my deep breathes. I am dropping G off at a birthday party, and will go spend time with a friend who can help me refocus on something other than myself!!!

Well, I have to be honest. I first had to Google Mirliton because I had no idea what it was. Was it a nut, a fruit, a vegetable? And, why is she cooking with it? LOL! Yea! So excited to try these out for Grace. I have to admit, my Grace's favorite thing to do on my iPhone is play Angry Birds! Um, yeah, not too educational.
She does like a game called "PocketPhonics".
Of couse she also loves that I have several "little girl" movies loaded on my iPhone's iPod.
Thanks, Tara. I will be loading these Apps tonight! And, I agree with you, I don't know what I would do without my iPhone for Grace. :-)

I am SO PROUD of you for writing this post! Lana went through the EXACT thing with her first baby, Kathryn. It was crazy that she spent 90 minutes our to 120 breastfeeding or pumping, or cleaning the pump. I felt so sad for her and was trying to encourage her in every way, letting her know she was NOT a failure when she finally went to formula. But, I know she felt as you did. But, what is most important - you have a healthy baby who is bonded with her mother and other family members, a mother who is rested and mentally strong to care for her child and rest of her family!
I am impressed you did as much as you did. As a nurse, I know how many women give up after the first day. I totally understand, and would never make a woman feel bad for her choice. You do what is best for you and your baby. Only you know what is best - no one else does.
