Great Poll. Perfect options as these are the people who would probably have the most answers and whose brains are ripe for the picking.

I've seen a lot of people calling for Juliet but Juliet would tell us nothing about the island and that is the purpose of the poll.

I guess I would want someone that could give me as many answers as possible. My first instinct was Eloise because she always seems to know so much more than everyone else regarding what's going on. But then I realized it had to be Hurley or Mother.

Hurley is probably the most likely of the bunch to be forthright and honest and tell us exactly what he learned in his time as leader about the island.

But Juliet doesn't really know anything...I would hope to get some "inside info" from whoever I take out to coffee...

I just found this quote regarding Gooden and the 1985 game (after the National League had beaten the American League): "And don't forget," said National League manager Dick Williams, "we didn't even use Dwight Gooden." I wonder why Williams opted not to use the best pitcher in Baseball? Maybe it was a Johan situation. LaMarr Hoyt started the game for the National League. At the break, Gooden had 13 wins and an ERA under 2.

MatthewA: You are correct. I looked into it further. Seaver's save was actually in the 15th inning of a 2-1 game; in his first All-Star appearance. Even though the save statistic was not yet a recognized statistic, these were technically saves, though they were never actually recorded. I apologize.
