Read that by today changing requirement from 25 to100 fans, Facebook stopped over 400,000 pages that would previously have qualified from getting vanity URLs tonight

Facebook do appear to have changed the requirement from 25 to 100 fans. People who said they have already claimed their URL today must be referring to personal profiles, not fan pages. Or must have qualified for the first round of URLs and just claiming late.

Facebook have changed it, very quietly, from 25 fans to 100 fans. Not good, going to impact a lot of people. Heard anything about that?

Slightly off there, sorry. Facebook aren't being very clear on this one at all. I'd read some initial (unverified) reports that it was 11:59pm tonight and that combined with what Facebook are stating in the help section made enough sense for me to go with. It makes sense to all happen at once rather than different phases in the same day. I note some people are saying they managed to get the URL today already but Im wondering if those are meaning personal URL rather than pages?
