Restaurants live and die by the word of mouth advertising of their patrons.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What really amazes me about the whole thing was that they didn't offer to get her something else, take your entree and REmake your to bring out with hers, offer to bring dessert and either take care of the entire evening or at least take all the food off the bill as well as a certificate good for ANY of the restaurants.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have a friends that are message therapists take a lot of clients to a local restaurant.  One evening there were a few bones in one of the entrees.  They mentioned this, not because they were upset but wanted to make sure the kitchen knew so it wouldn't happen again.  The manager immediately comped the entire check as well as gave them $200 in gift certificates.  The restaurant knew they would be back and bring many more new people with them who would then become customers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hey maybe you could craft a letter to Emeril himself to let him know what happened.
