Go to the site &lt;a href="http://iCloud.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="iCloud.com"&gt;iCloud.com&lt;/a&gt;. Log into the Apple ID that is on the phone (device) in question.  Tap or click the find my iPhone icon. At the top center you'll see devices. Tap or click devices. Find the device in question and tap or click it. Give it a few seconds, and remove from account will come up. Sign in and go to find my iPhone.  Device is as the top center.  Tap/click that and find the device.  Tap/click that and remove the device from the account.
