I'm quite happy with the Biden pick. I would have been happy with almost any of the true contenders, but I was a bit worried about an Obama/Clinton ticket even though it would have solved a lot of the Hillary-supporters issues. Personally, for as much as I liked Bill Clinton and would support HIllary for president, I think that having Obama, Hillary AND Bill in the White HOuse might be a few too many presidents. I think we have seen that the Vice President can actually have quite a lot of power... see Dick Cheney if you doubt me. :) Obama/Biden for '08!!!!!

My thoughts exactlly. :) Hehe... maybe we should just tell people we have kids... if they ask to see pictures, I'll tell them that my kids are afraid of cameras so we refrain from snapping photos... hehe... think it would work?

This isn't just a gay phenomenon. As a married woman without kids, I get the same kinds of demands placed on me and as a person who "isn't blessed by the joys of children" (sarcasm fully intended) I am expected to pick up for the parents who have to miss work for sick kids or have their schedules rearranged to appease their family life. It's annoying... what's worse is when people ask me if I have kids and I say no and then they feel inclined to pity me. It is my choice not to have a child but I feel as though I need to explain why I don't... kids are wonderful but trust me they aren't for everyone. Sorry... feeling a wee bit bitter today. LOL. Happy Sunday.
