I've thought about it a few times since then. I struggle in many of the same ways you do, but the line that got me was this:

"...instead of distracting yourself from your feelings via whatever means you traditionally do (Facebook? Cookies? Another work out when you really don’t need one?)…just hang with them. Let them be. Give them some room to breathe."

Thank you for sharing, I love that you are learning to be still and know that you are good. And I'm glad to see you are back at it writing. :)

Re: Wardrobe Oxygen: Review and Giveaway: Norton Identity Safe

I once forgot my password for our VPN while out of town for a work conference. I want a JimRaffel.com sticker! And my boyfriend collects stickers, but never sticks them on anything, so... I need two stickers. :) As for my stickers needs... I'm not sure what I'd do with $200 worth of stickers but if I won, I'd figure it out!

Re: The Running Streak: What’s Enough?

Jane, I was following your runstreak religiously but somehow missed the fact that it ended! I'm glad you were able to end the streak in a way that worked for you. Your attitude is really inspiring! I love what you said long ago when we talked about the streak - that
it's easier to runstreak than not, because it eliminates the decision. :) To know when enough is enough and decide back off is difficult! Congrats on the 331-day streak, and I'll still be watching your example of what's next for a healthy, happy runner. *fingers crossed for your shin*

Re: What I’ve learned from using TwUnfollow.com – Shelby says

It's to the point where I'm afraid to unfollow anyone because of this type of service. It's good to
hear there are others out there that are ok with just doing what they love
and speed is secondary. At least one part of running is the spirit of competition and it's natural to want to know how we measure up - it's why we have races! But I totally agree that the nervous feeling starts when I have to analyze my run as 'good' or 'bad' based on numbers. When I ditched the scale in my weight-loss journey, I learned a valuable lesson about measuring and managing. Often, just going by feel, as you did for years without a Garmin, is the best thing we can do for ourselves. Thanks for your comment :)

Re: http://bananza.tumblr.com/post/6105889032

BWAHAHA!
